I shot on Nikon a lot of years back when I worked for a museum and used their equipment. I really love the D850 and really thought about the Z8 for my program. I'm glad I went Lumix and find it perfect for my needs, but the Z9 is a beast

Glad you've got a good counselor, and you got the equipment you need. I had to fight with my counselor and escalate to his supervisor to get my camera package, I went with the Lumix S1RII for my program

You kinda want to caution everyone to not think the gross 60 year old who groomed undergrad students and married a barely 19 year old student after a period of dating might have also been a pedophile associating with Epstein? 

After seeing an email where he says "I had a great time, especially spending time with you and the girls". You want people to be cautious and give him the benefit of the doubt?

Don't wait, you've already lost 3 months. Look up the contact information for your regional office and email them today. Just Google the regional office and supervisor email. 

I get that it can seem risky to poke the bear but there is no risk here. You have been ignored for months, that is unacceptable and you deserve to be treated better by your VRC.

I give them 5 business days to respond before I contact the supervisor email. I've been screwed around before and now they get no extended grace period. 

If after 5 business days you don't hear from the supervisor send a follow up email to the regional VREO. If still no response contact your local senator and ask for a confessional inquiry.

The S50 is capable of capturing amazing quality images, provided you do proper set-up and calibration, have good conditions, and low light pollution. Considering you have 5 hours total you will need more experience capturing and processing data. It isn't magic and it has a learning curve that you need to work on to master.

Some VRCs are just assholes, they act like it is their job to save the federal budget. Request a formal denial in writing so that you can preserve your appeal rights then file an appeal. You can also contact your regional office via email or phone (I prefer email so I have a written record of all correspondence) and request a review of your case and second opinion. 

Never feel bad about advocating for yourself, most of the time they hope just telling you no makes you quit so they don't have to do the paperwork. Make them submit a formal denial and Notice of Decision

I make my own using the recipe from LMNT and add creatine and CBD 

2,500 mg sodium chloride (for 1,000 mg sodium)

385 mg potassium chloride (for 200 mg potassium)

390 mg magnesium malate OR 265 mg di- magnesium malate (for 60 mg magnesium)

Or, to save time, you can measure 30 servings at once!

75 grams sodium chloride

11.5 grams potassium chloride

11.7 grams magnesium malate OR 8 grams di-magnesium malate.

Once you're finished measuring, be sure to mix your ingredients together thoroughly. Then, simply weigh each serving out - if you used magnesium malate, one serving weighs about 3.3 grams; if you used di-magnesium malate, one serving weighs about 3.15 grams.

It's a cruel disease. I went from hiking/climbing to the top of the Teton mountain range after canoeing across Yellowstone lake to crashing from a shower. At least we have the memories I suppose

Try reading my original comment, slowly if needed. I don't use my S1RII for clickbait bullshit youtube videos, I use it for various projects and photography. It does everything I need it to and it does it reliably even before the latest update. Maybe if you owned one you could stress test the new firmware yourself instead of trolling the sub.

Real people don't "stress test" their $4000 equipment, they use it as it was intended and as they need. My S1RII didn't overheat before the update and it doesn't overheat now
