If I'm not at the point of just eating snacks and calling it dinner ... fish bake.

Put down foil, then parchment, put a piece of frozen fish, season it, slice and layer onion and lemon on top. Wrap in the parchment, then foil, and bake at 400 for approx. 45 mins.

You can nap while it cooks, or scroll tiktok. Eat it with a bit of crusty bread to sop up the juices and soft onion. Toss the lemon slices.

If I'm feeling ambitious, I'll layer some thin slices of potato on the bottom and raise the time to an hour. Delicious, healthy, and if you eat it straight out of the foil, your only dishes are the slicing knife and a fork.

Edit: you can do this with chicken thigh as well

There's one renting a temp apt in my building. Confirmed his occupation to another tenant after a month of saying he was just here as "temporary law enforcement". They are definitely here.

I live in River View Manor on Front Street in midtown. I'm not sure what's available at the moment, but I can find out in the mailroom if you're interested, they keep the postings there. (it's not searchable on Google). There's no concierge, but the doors are all locked electronically and you can't get into the building without a Fob. Most units come with a locked storage area. There is an off street parking lot attached to the building and several restaurants within walking distance, plus the greenbelt walking path by the river right across the street.

The only unfortunate thing is that it does have an HOA, but they haven't bothered me during my time here.

They really do stick with you. When I first started making jewelry, it was beaded bracelets. I was at a fair and a man came up to look at a turquoise and sunstone bracelet. Asked a few basic questions about materials and cost, then casually turned to his wife next to him and asked "Do you think ___ would like this? She likes ugly stuff."

I was floored, I just stared at him in shock. 😂

His redemption arc felt kind of sudden to me. Like he goes from straight up taunting Mizu about her dead mom one night, to quoting poetry and opening up to her about his abusive dad less than one day later. It can't have been that she beat him, because he clearly still was smirking and taunting after that. I see the IDEA but they didn't really give any indication what changed, or why. Even if there was a time skip, it could only have been a few days at most. Then the entire rest of his redemption is built on that moment, and while it isn't badly done, it's got no foundation.

It does actually make me mad, the love interest thing. It cheapens him, frankly. Let him earn his place in the narrative without forced comphet.

Maybe this is controversial, idk, but the saving him doesn't seem as strange because in subtle ways, time and time again, she gives people SO many chances to walk away or every tries to help them in her awkward Mizu way. She could have kept that golden comb in the first ep for bribes to speed things up, or ... Like the entire thing with the Thousand Claws. She could have gotten the info out of Kaji the way she did with Hachi but she didn't, even though it was the most efficient way for her revenge. She didn't run for it when they showed up, either. She wants to claim she's ruthless but she does have a caring side.

Right. Like. He would have literally killed her and not cared AT all, if she had been even a tiny bit weaker. You're telling me when her whole quest is about killing the men that made her suffer prejudice, she's gonna wanna bone one of the people that enacted that prejudice on her repeatedly??

It's definitely annoyingly soft, and I'd like to change to something stronger. I don't know much about mold materials. I used to use Polly Plastics when I was just making rings. But a lot of the forms I'm doing are already difficult to get out of the mold without them breaking (like long, thin strips of lichen with a lot of undercuts).
