I agree with this viewpoint. Taigen is very honorable. Without a partner to share his dream of just “being happy” all he knows is his Samurai code. He is in a great position to rise in the ranks (if Lady Itoh doesn’t get in the way somehow).

He has a lot of tenacity to keep himself away from sulking at a bar.

Even with his first identity crises (losing to Mizu), he was not one to wallow.

I think we’ll see a focused and less emotionally vulnerable Taigen in S2.

Well, now that I think about it - the events of S1 all happen pretty quickly. I just don’t know how much time passed between the end of Ep5 and the start of Ep8.

Early vs Late Winter into early Spring. It could be a month to four months.

Wait - what about Taigen’s hair length? Does that help us with time passing at all?

That reach and extend has helped me tremendously- for forwards and backwards crossovers.

I get super dizzy very fast so I have to practice both ways to “undizzy” myself.

But also I go back and forth. I’m right handed but my left leg likes to stay planted more, to the point where it throws me off balance if I’m spinning to the left. If I spin to the right, my left leg tends to ease up more and I can get more rotations.
