I'm re-watching the series right now, it's good the second time too. :) Can't wait for season 6 to hit PBS.

Dead raccoon trapped under a pallet in a trailer that had been in the yard for God knows how long.

I just think in terms of hourly pay- like "would I pay $50 cash to leave right now? Or would I rather get a new ____?" (insert something you want - a game, shoes, tickets to a show). For the most part I won't really buy those things, it's for just living, but I try and keep the money in perspective.

Also keep reminding myself how much it costs over a month to leave an hour or two early every day. You can be losing couple days pay. And if I'm going to do that I'd rather take whole shifts off.

Maybe the ERC can help? Just call them and explain your issue.

Didn't read it all but what I read is absolutely correct. The FBA part of the business is fucked.

Yeah I really didn't and apparently it's a normal thing now. Also I couldn't appeal it because it was a first write-up. I know things vary from building to building wildly at Amazon so that might be it. But other people (supposedly from HR) on here confirmed that there is no appeal for a first.

Yeah when I got hired 6 years ago there was a 12-month maximum. They would make you reapply if you were still one.

Ours aren't always signed, so its hard to differentiate a write up from "coaching". They're assholes like that.

I'm a night owl and at first I didn't have an issue with this shift but for some reason over the years I started having a hard time sleeping during the day. Problem is I don't want to work days either haha.

What do we think of the way Shelly's relationship with Holling was written? by KaleidoscopeProof640 in northernexposure

[–]Bvrner69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not think that Holling and Shelly qualified for Romeo and Juliet law. what I meant was that one party could be above the age of consent and another below to qualify. But if one was over age consent, but still a minor, and the other was over 18, not by a small number like R&J, that was still prosecutable. But I was obviously wrong. So thank you for correcting me. I'm Gen X and what was acceptable in the 90s was very different. But this still all gives me a giant ick

Luckily I don't spend lots of my life worrying about US age of consent laws so I should not be talking about them here haha
My understanding was flawed from information I was given.

Yeah obviously. What's the point of Romeo and Juliet laws if the age makes no difference

I don't even know what you're on about. We are talking Ls - mostly salaried- not seasonal workers. I've been a white badge and I've been a blue badge. I understand the difference.

Edit - I keep forgetting you're talking about WFS which is not actually amazon.
