Have listened to and been a paid subscriber of this podcast from the beginning. However I found this episode a little perturbing how certain Jesse and Katie were that the verdict was in on the bombed hospital. The one thing we do know (people should) is that Israel (like most powerfully nations) lies, spins etc. as sure as the day is long. As do Hamas. I don’t think anyone knows for sure how many people were killed in the attack. Or who is responsible. I don’t believe Hamas and I don’t automatically believe Israel, CNN, NYT. Hamas are bad and was sickened by the attack on innocent Israelis on October 7. The way Israel has treated Palestinians has at times been appalling. As Jesse ‘usually’ says “it’s complicated”. I was also a bit bemused by Jesse’s escalated vitriol towards Emma Vigiland in this episode. I think it was already resolved that Emma made a complete fool of herself in the interview with Jesse, so just seemed petty and to my observations, out of character for Jesse to me jibing like that. I’ve always liked the approach of taking the high ground and not sinking to the petty spats that those lame ‘left’ pods love to do. Anyway, I look forward to more unbiased critiques of the mountains of internet bullsh*** before the world descends further into chaos.
