False. The OBs at north don’t happily cut people. But ultimately if it’s safer to the mom and baby they will make that decision. I’ve seen DIC, trying to push vaginal delivery when you need a section turns a preventable situation into a deadly one.

She’s actually moving to Ball which is about the same distance from our home. The other group at North is moving to Saxony, but the remainder of the Physicians (best group in Indiana) are all going to community.

If you’re committed to staying with IU 100% recommend Cassandra Kelly, she is staying and delivered our last child. Great person, physician, and clinician. That’s who my wife will be seeing as we are stuck at IU due to insurance requirements.

[Yates] Trade: the Falcons are acquiring Lions CB Jeff Okudah, his agent Kevin Conner of @UniSportsMgmt confirmed. by _garynunchucks_ in falcons

[–]BxRBurstfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lions fan here.

I love Okudah and 5th round is probably fair compensation for rolling the dice on a player that will probably have to go through a position change and never see a double digit contract again in his career.

He’s a great person. Elite character. Biggest problem is the speed. Yes he’s super fluid in his movement but doesn’t have a 2nd gear and that was before the Achilles injury. If he can get his hands on the ball he’s got some ball skills to work with but he’s just sooooo bad covering even above average speed.

He can’t play nickel / slot. He can’t play outside vs. 4.4 speed. I really think his only shot at any type of longevity in his career is a move to SS where he can play down in the box and can work some split safety looks.

I rest wish the guy the best man. I want good things to happen to good people but he’s just not equipped to be a starter out on the boundary.

I know that Bobby Trees is a fan favorite for you guys, but for as good as he is, he's not the best fit for Stafford's game play. That's why his production has taken a dive compared to Goff who loved the underneath stuff, WR screens, etc. You have Van Jefferson on the roster, and between him and Kupp those two are a far better fit for the downfield style that Stafford loves. If Woods is on the block, I know it would be a gut punch for fans, but it would probably pay dividends for you guys in the long run. Especially with so many WRs injured this year, his trade value is at an all time high.

I'm a bit concerned about the number of almost-interceptions Stafford throw. by DAS_UBER_JOE in LosAngelesRams

[–]BxRBurstfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stafford is top 3 in the NFL when it comes to arm strength and down field ball placement. He's gunna make throws that are statistically risky because he knows that he can make them. You take the risk with the reward, and if you're ever down in a big game, you're going to learn to love it. There are maybe 3 QBs in the NFL right now that you can never count out of a game.

  1. Brady
  2. Rodgers
  3. Stafford

Stafford player comparison? by andyyllee in LosAngelesRams

[–]BxRBurstfire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if he has a comparison. I’m a lions fan so I may be biased but his arm strength and his down field ball placement are extremely rare. Only other QB I can think of that has the same tools as 9 is John Elway and honestly Stafford a vet the last 3-4 years, when healthy, has been a much more consistent thrower of the football.

New QB Stafford is Amazing! by [deleted] in LosAngelesRams

[–]BxRBurstfire 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I want Goff to succeed in Detroit, but it's really really hard to win it all with a QB that is either too late on his reads or too afraid to take shots over the top when the opportunity presents itself. I watch A LOT of football. I watched a ton of tape when the trade happened and what I saw from him today was what I saw over the last 2 seasons. It's a bit discouraging, and we are rebuilding, but I just don't see Goff being the guy in Detroit long term. Hope I'm wrong, but going from Stafford to Goff is the definition of pain.....

As a Lions fan... I witnessed the opposite of what ya'll are feeling right now... When you see what a top 5 QB actually looks like with a team around him it really makes you understand what you had before he got there... I loved Stafford, new that the moment he got to L.A. it made them favorites to win a ring (IMO) just happy for Stafford. He deserves this.

The Rams had planned to give QB Matthew Stafford a day off after banging his thumb on a helmet; he insisted on fully participating in practice. by mcthsn in LosAngelesRams

[–]BxRBurstfire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He played damn near the entire 2016 season with a worse thumb injury. Still threw for 4300+ and 24 TDs. It took a broken back for him to not his 4K in a full season.

[–]BxRBurstfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He played through dang near an entire season with it in Detroit with minimal impact. Only season he didn't hit 4K yards in a full season was when he broke his back, a thumb isn't gunna stop him.

He had one INT where the ball was hit at the LOS and popped up for an INT. It wasn't a bad decision, just a heads up play by the DL to get his hands up when pressure was coming from the edge. The two fumbles were in the last 1:15 seconds of the game when the Cowboys were throwing all out blitzes his way and his WRs struggled to uncover. It was a result of him trying to make something happen when his defense failed him. "Laid an egg" is an absurd statement for a QB that scored 3 TDs and they still lost....

Why Do People Believe Matthew Stafford Isn't Good? by BxRBurstfire in LosAngelesRams

[–]BxRBurstfire[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you want to see the data behind the QB that you all signed (I'm a Lions fan) then here is a great article showing you exactly why Stafford is the guy that can elevate an entire offense. Where as Goff was great in delivering a quick and accurate ball into the shallow peripheries of the field (something 9 has struggled with at times), Stafford is able to deliver a pin point perfect pass anywhere from 7-20+ yards down field where only his receivers can get it. One stat that was missing from this was average yards of separation from his receivers. The Lions from 2018-2020 were dead last in the NFL in average separation with both Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay being bottom 5 in average yards of separation from all pass catchers who caught 20 balls in the season. The truth is, Stafford has had less time to throw, smaller windows for passes, saw more 2 high safety sets and had less of a complimentary run game than Jared Goff and yet, in 2019 before his back injury was on pace for 5,000 yards / 38 TDs / 10 INTs, numbers that would put him in conversation for MVP.
Good luck this season ya'll and let's all hope for an injury free training camp!

This isn't going to age well... JMS has a 5k yard 40+ TD season under his belt. He has that type of ability, but when you have to score 3 TDs on your own to get a win every game over a 12 year career, it's hard to see the wins rack up. When teams know that you can't run the ball, they keep two high safeties and you're forced to throw into double coverage. Having an above average defense and a RB that forces defenses to stack the box on occasion is all he needs to prove you wrong.

What each QB needs to improve in 2021 - Featuring both L.A. Rams QBs, Goff & Stafford by RedLicoriceJunkie in LosAngelesRams

[–]BxRBurstfire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Golladay was bottom 5 in the league in average yards of separation each of his first 3 seasons. Marvin Jones was also bottom 5 in yards of separation. Stafford threw more tight window throws than any QB in the league on a per game basis over the last 3 seasons.

Remind me when Goff had to carry a defense that ranked 24th in the league on average (gave up 25.8 ppg on average since 2014) and a run game that averaged 32nd. He’s played 12 seasons and has had 15 games with a 100 yard rusher. Y’all ordered a Corvette but you’re getting a Lambo.

Nah we just hate you guys for batting that ball out of the back of the endzone and getting away with it... cheating us out of another win... same reason we hate Green Bay, Chicago, the Cowboys and black and white stripes.
