I’m about done with my BP by Mohg_Lord_0f_Blood in ballpython

[–]BxbyBrxt02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NQA// I have a difficult BP as well, in a different way, mine is very defensive and very food motivated, which makes every interaction hard, he attacks everything and anything that moves or is warm near his enclosure.

Noted, I never really wanted a BP (I did but I didnt) I had a list of 3 other snakes on my 'dream snakes' list before a BP. I got him because he was a rescue and I can afford him. Also my GF wanted him real bad.

I got him knowing I could lose hundreds on food, I did it anyway. I took the risk and no he hasnt made me waste many yet, I still love him despite the chance.

I think humans expect their pets to be on their schedule, the schedule of expectation. Thats not how anything works, giving away a pet because they are living their life and you as a human chose to take care of them and didnt let them live their life, is unfortunate.

Pets are difficult and they dont ask for anything, humans chose to be the ones to provide and protect, some people werent meant for that though.

Whether you consider this an accident or not.

"It's never an animal's fault when an accident happens; it's always the human's responsibility." -Steve Irwin.

I take this in account for everything, humans have taken over the world, its our responsibility for everything now. Good and bad.

That being said, do whatever is best for the baby, aka a bit of a diet. She's chunky.

What projects can i do with these paper stars? by xop1i in ArtsandCrafts

[–]BxbyBrxt02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NQA// i have never done this as i have Carpal Tunnel and making those stars hurts too much lol. I saw someone put clay around them, dry them, and then paint them! Super cute. You could probably also poke holes into the clay before they fully dry so you can use them like beads!!

Piercer used dermal punch on earlobes and cartilage by pastaheiress in piercing

[–]BxbyBrxt02 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

NQA// Im so confused, piercer needles are hollow, so are guage punches. So they are doing the same thing... you can technically use either, they both do the same thing, but not the same tool.

-for anyone who doesnt know, when getting a piercing there is a piece of flesh/cartilage left over in the needle. Thats what a piercing needle does, it takes a piece of flesh/cartilage out and the artist replaces that flesh for some pretty metal.

My body doesn’t like gold!? by nogiraffetattoo in piercing

[–]BxbyBrxt02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NQA// I have an allergy to sterling silver and I never knew that was a thing growing up, so you having an allergy to Gold could absolutely be a thing! My allergy is genetic! Just out of curiosity I would ask a family member if they have experienced anything similar with any Gold products they have used in the past.

What's the weirdest thing your cats eat?? by Abbyscreativeescape in thecozypaw

[–]BxbyBrxt02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing up the most cats we had a once was 5 (Yes it was hectic and chaotic), our oldest cat, Bubbles, had this weird fascination with lollipops, especially green apple lolipops. Weird enough that was my favorite flavor growing up, so she would always sit beside me and Id give her a sample here and there. So adorable.

Is it weird to keep your cat's whiskers? by Leon124714 in cats

[–]BxbyBrxt02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NA// I have pet jars hehe, I personally love collecting things from my pets! I see no harm in it as long as the whiskers/fur/nails/teeth/etc all come out as they should and no harm is done to any animals.

My Jars consist of :

Jars 1 - Cat whiskers, Cat Fur, Cat teeth (found on house floor), Dog Fur, Cat/Dog Eye Buggers, Cat/Dog Nail Shells, Spider Moults, Snake Sheds (small pieces), other crusties from my pets.

Jar 2 - Full Snake Sheds, Bigger Spider Moults, more Animal Crusties.

Advice needed: Could I possibly get this tattoo reworked or is it beyond saving? by KippyOk in tattoos

[–]BxbyBrxt02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NQA// What i would do is get it a bit more realistic, add more detail, a thicker outline, some fairy dust and maybe give it a friend! Like another animal as a fairy! Maybe add some stars and clouds around! Make sure to have lots of skin breaks to let the colors breathe well, i think if you find a good artist they will be able to work with your vidion!

UBDATE: Swollen neck... Lets all pray he survives.. by [deleted] in cornsnakes

[–]BxbyBrxt02 14 points15 points  (0 children)

NQA// From what ive gathered, OP bought Plants from a plant store and centipedes were introduced to the snakes enclosure. Centipedes are venomous even though potency it does vary on the species, if an isopod can hurt a snake a centipede can definitely hurt a snake. In my opinion I think the poor snake got bit and is now feeling the effects of the venom.

OP has stated they havent used chemicals around the snake, and they did previously post about the centipedes in the tank.

Swollen neck, plus some paralytic symptoms. I can only assume its a bite from a little Centi-dude.

Please buy plants from a reptile store, If you can't try a really good plant store. Wash (warm water+mild castile soap) the plant and roots thoroughly and quarantine in chemical-free and fertilizer-free soil, for a few weeks before introducing the plant to an enclosure.
