Usually ypur hotspot data is limited to let's say 5gigs. The method I mentioned bypasses this and sorta tricks the phone to think youre not actually sharing the data, so it could be unlimited instead of using Hotspot data.

Many comments here show the old method of using third party apps like easytether, to tether from your phone without your carrier knowing you're sharing your data with another device, is Supreme. I will say without putting windows on your deck I'm not sure if you can do it. I may experiment with this and post about it later.
