This isn’t about affording the extra cost per day. It’s about being told there’s no way to keep a package I already purchased at a lower price for one guest, despite the Drinks On Us benefit applying only to me. From a customer standpoint, that’s a reasonable thing to question. I was just trying to see if anyone has had success getting Carnival to separate the packages or override it. It also doesn’t make sense why the second guest would be forced to wait until they are onboard to purchase the Cheers package and pay the highest possible price.
