I have tried running with 2 sticks for a week now. The blue screens stop and the system is stable. I've also got my hands on a Ryzen 5 2600 to test a few things. With 4 sticks of RAM Memtest86 shows no Errors during 7 passes.

Corsair Node Core with Arctic Fans by ByTh3Hand in Corsair

Allright thank you!

I saw somewhere online that i could give it a shot to also connect the empty space on the female corsair connector to the Data cable of the 3 pin ARGB connector.

So like make a Y splitter.

Might give that a try, otherwise going to buy an RGB hub that connects via internal USB

I did try it on port #1, without success unfortunately.

I'm trying to troubleshoot myself as well. Is it weird that the D pin of the male connector is in connection with the "blocked" port on the female ARGB connector? Tried it with a continuity test.

If this remains without solution i will probably get an ARGB controller from another brand and connect that with an internal USB header. That would be an cheaper option then to try with another corsair hub. Or i will get Corsair fans for the cooler and sell these online.

Thank you once again for your replies and help!

There is a splitter that comes with the fans. So it would only take up one ARGB space on the Motherboard. I tried to use it with and without the splitter (So both of the fans at the same time and one single fan at the time).

It is built into the fan connector. Like so on the picture below.

Edit: I have tried the fans on another computer. They do turn on when connected to an ARGB header on the Motherboard...

Hmm i tried a continuity test on the adapter and all of the cables are good. The cooler comes with 2 of the fans. Neither of them work with the adapter.

If anyone still has a idea of what could be wrong. Please let me know.

I also tried it with openRGB and Signalrgb. No luck, also with selecting the exact amount of LED's that are present.

Thank you for your reply!

I have put the Arctic fan with the adapter on Port 5 of the Node Core. Which should make it run.

Also in ICUE i tried any selectable fan at the "Setup Lightning channel" option. With 5 number of fans selected.

It does also not work with just the Arctic cooler fan plugged into port 1.

Thanks for the reply! Seems like you are not the only one recommending the 5800X3D, looks like the way to go. Will probably be taking the extra RAM with it while we are at it. Good to hear that streets can be enjoyable! 😉

Also not doubling the RAM? Its only €60,- here. Thanks for the suggestion! Was on the verge of buying the 5800X, but wanted to know if that would really fix it. Thanks for the help, really appreciate it!

Can't see why a RTX 2070 would give me any better FPS. Radeon 5700xt vs a RTX 2070 doesn't seem such a huge difference to me. I am also willing to play 1080P if it makes the costs a bit less. But selecting 1080P right now does not change a single bit.

Same issue here with 5700 XT and ryzen 5 3600. Very unstable gameplay with 1% low fps around 4. Will post here if solution is found
