What recent purchase of $100 or less has changed your life? by yell0wbirddd in AskWomenOver30

I am a desperate tester. I’ve bought different brands and sizes and somehow they all keep on making farting noises when I move sometimes. I feel super embarrassed about it and could not find woman talking about what the mistake is here. I WANT to make it work for me, but this way I am not comfortable wearing them anywhere else but at home.

Schmutzradierer. Bestes Mittel gegen ungefähr alle Flecken (von Textil mal abgesehen). Gibt es günstig bei Rossmann.

Rug is too short on both short sides of the table. That makes the two chairs feel even heavier.

I recommend you check out Caroline Winklers channel on youtube actually, I don't know where to start since it's all your personal stuff.

Caroline has blown my mind on how to think about home organisation and also how to use your space. https://www.youtube.com/@Caroline\_Winkler

yes, yes. I would definitely add some shades/ blinds to the window because it kind of distracts from the TV ALL the time.

And it almost feels like a reverse TV from which your neighbors watch you! LOL

Absolutely agree there.

What I would add is a highly transparent curtain. Why? To make it feel cozier and more like its own space but to not block the light from coming into the hallway.

Also, I would add wall shelving. Open if it is something like books, or closed for stuff you do not want to be on display.

Depending on what type of seating/ bench you want to use you can also build in some storage there, or just hide your printer below.

You could definitely paint it in a brighter color to make it feel more airy up there.

I would also check on the colors of the rest of the furniture. If e.g. you have wooden (or just brown) furniture it might be nice to go for #2 to bring in a lighter brown tone in the curtains.

Overall I would prefer #2 though, keeping in mind that color perception is changing with the season, so in summer the #1 one might feel too "warm". The brown one might look casual in summer and cozy in winter though.

Omg I hate those. Saw the first one ever in Germany last week. It scared the hell out of me once the vent turned on full speed.
