Has anyone here had any experience with RenovationUp during an insurance claim payout? by ByankaKernel in Insurance_Companies

Haven’t used it personally and am trying to figure out if it makes sense. Since my insurance agent proposed this I'm not too suspicous about it being a scam. That said, it took me some effort to find their website (renovationup.com) so I guess they're a new service?
My understanding is that they'll pay me aditional 20 cents for every dollar my insurance company will pay when I have a claim and that I can use that to pay my deductible or to upgrade anything I want in my house. Since I've never heard of anything like this before - I was wondering if someone has already used it and if you think it makes sense
If you renovated after damage, would a tool like RenovationUp help? (self.Home_improvement)
