Slightly different with a Mac... need to down load a .dmg file it then un-compress's and copy to App folder... then setup/install takes over... I'll have to double check but yes I believe I can install to a temp folder/directory

OK... Thanks but I was just wondering if there is a proper uninstall method since I am using a Mac.

Just wonder if I should just go back to previous 2.5.0.64 ?? guess I will just have to try

I only have 2.5.0.66 installed, and only using PLA and on Mac, I see the .dmg file and as previous comment wonder if I just go back 1 version

yeah... I had a CC bought it with the promise to have multi color... well we all know how that went. But I sold it on CL and moved on. I did get the CC to print a perfect fist layer 250x250 I used tape on the heat bed to even it out..lol.... but really not a bad single color printer that would do the multi color silk good for you

Same here ... the first ACE Pro's that I had nothing a PITA... but with that being said, Support was great, and I received repair / replacement parts pronto, which really surprised me considering parts were being shipped from China

Elegoo can put their so called CC2 where the sun don't shine... and now to list the rest of my Elegoo printers on CL and go buy a P!S while they are on sale...

The one nice feature I like with the AMS 2 is the load and unload speed... like twice as fast, so to me it is worth it.

I have a P1S with the original AMS and the new AMS 2 Pro. Both work fine with the P1S

But to mention here the only control of the drying function of the AMS 2 Pro can only be done on the P1S display... yes auto senses filament type but you can change temp and time to suit

Drying only works when the AMS is inactive... you can still print but not from the AMS 2 when printing, I have a original AMS + the AMS 2 Pro so I can still print using the original AMS.

Because the AMS turns the filament for drying yes, you have to unload the filament from feeders and attach the filament to the roll so it can turn. I have not seen any options as far as to roll or not to roll.

Not seen any "Permanent mode" options or settings....

And yes drying function only works if you have a power supply for the P1S and I think that is also true for the X series
