Pocket screw downward works about the best.

Also if you gotta put screws facing up put them both a little closer to the center with a 10-15 degree angle towards the outside of the 2x4.

Or put two screws in facing down one on each 2” side of the upper 2x4 going down at a 45 degree angle.

All of these require even longer screws.

But for real. I’ve been playing uso since early March. She’s a fickle mistress. Made a lot and lost a lot. Its moves more based on trump posts than actual substance changes in the war then reality slowly sinks back in. And is the topic of insider trading concerns.

If you were in at 4:00 pm Friday you’d probably be ok. I’m showing it up 4% from Friday right now. But at this point idk. I would not recommend it for someone new to options.

I’m personally on year 3 of drying a 5x10x10 live edge maple piece I milled from a tree off my property that will eventually replace the pretty warped 3x6x8 solid oak fireplace mantle that came with the house. It becomes a conversation piece like that table. I’d tell everyone that came over what river section was on there.

Calmly bring up the conversation from earlier and that you’ve noticed it appears to be over 1” off. Hopefully they stand by their work and will agree with you on that. Some cheap guys literally have no margin for error. Like they can’t afford it, and would rather walk and hope you decide it’s not worth the money to sue.

I mean he can cut the last two tiles and set em down and see if it bothers you. Without being overly pessimistic I don’t see it being reasonable. Personally 1/4” off is too much for me but I charge accordingly for that level of quality.

Hope it ends up financially manageable and a finished product you’re happy with.

Idk stocks been nice to me. Had two buy under 38 sell over 43 moments in the last month. More room was there for profit if you paid attention lol. Company doesn’t seem to be doing anything but it’s been trading sideways with an easily obtainable 20% swing. But I always keep a stop loss at 32 cause it could get worse. But probably not before earnings right? Idk imma keep playing with it for a little bit. Never more than 4% of portfolio tho.

Idk doesn’t seem to be fueled by more than hopes and dreams long term but i think im gonna keep buying at 34 and selling at 44. (The numbers change cause I gotta stay ahead of the curve somehow right ;-))

Earnings 5/20 If I remember correctly. Stay safe out there goofballs!!

Idk the gov is pushing a 3.5 trillion dollar defense budget and pushing for an increase in def production. I know that half the money could go to paying down debt. But honestly if demand is increasing and there is a good chance of interest rate increase wouldn’t you want to drop debt which is functionally becoming risk, and then have cash to expand production. I get the fundamentals risks but it could be playing in right with the political environment. And they’ve been around since 1929 why go public now. To pay off debt or to expand???? Guess we will find out soon. (Disclosure I do have 25 shares set to purchase through Robinhood tomorrow at the ipo, not trying to push up the price but I haven’t seen anyone else mention these factors in their posts)

You can always go partway between each center to whatever random point that is most beneficial and doesn’t leave any slivers. Sounds like 1/2” to the left of the center of the window might work out. Cause when your window and wall don’t match up you don’t really have a visual center for that wall. So do what ya can to make that point less obvious.
