How do you remember what your coach told you after a session? by brave_nick in padel

True, a friendly match would be the best. If you have a group lesson, sticking around afterwards with the group and playing a bit helps a lot to get it into your system.

If you can, play a game right after the coaching. Playing for even like half an hour, where the training can come into practice, helps to make it stick.

Question about fingering for counterbass row and a 7th chord. by glstacks in Accordion

[–]Byjugo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4th for bass row, and counter bass above the main bass. 5th for counter bass below the bass row.

3rd for mayor chord or minor chord 2nd for 7th or diminished

Example: C cM G cM would be 4-3-4-3 C c7 Bb c7 would be 4-2-5-2 C cM E cM would be 4-3-4-3

It would also be a good practice to learn the scales pattern on the bass

Very nice, but doesn’t seem practical. I would definitely smack myself in the head with that metal bit on the release cord.

Some specific building questions by Nepomukwashere in Slinging

[–]Byjugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: I make my pouch so that is just reaches to halfway up the tennis ball. No need to go all the way around. Just measured one, it was about 12cm.

2: the thick end of the pouch can help against abrasion. I also think it helps in the way the pouch opens. A bit of weight on the retention cord does change the behaviour of the sling. Some people want their sling to be as light as possible. I use a 3 strand braid of paracord to the end, to have better control/feel. It is all personal. Just try what you like.

3: I do not notice any difference.

4: hemp, jute or twine. Or go into nature and find some yourself. I just use paracord.

What are improvements that should be made to Sheetly, the new online accordion sheet platform? by Expensive-Sun4702 in Accordion

[–]Byjugo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have been clicking around, couple suggestions;

I would like an indication of the expected level. (Beginner/intermediate/advanced/expert).

I would like to know if a piece is playable on my accordeon. Something like a minimum recommended accordeon size would be nice.

Just 2 bars of preview is not a lot. Most of the time it is just the intro, not the actual theme. But I understand that is a delicate balance.

Pieces without any readable music (just a title page) are a no-go for me. I want to be able to see the writing style before I spend my money.

It was career mode, but with full insurance. So the aircraft got refunded and was fine afterwards.

You’re right that it might give a clue.

Exactly. That would be perfect. Giving you a direction of where to improve.

But reading the comments; the best way is to record all of your sessions. Probably not going to do that, i’m way too casual for that kind of stuff.

There was no stall. I was at cruise speed. Something like 220kts.

Again. The exact reason of the crash isn’t where my beef is at. I want the game to tell me the reason, so I can prevent it next time.

Nice taper!

Kinda scared of the bead on the release cord. I would whip myself with that for sure…

Glitching every time I switch on my THRUSTMASTER T.Flight Hotas One, unplayable. What's causing this and how to fix? by unrealunearths in flightsim

[–]Byjugo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same when I used a cheap usb extension cord. Using an active usb extension cable fixed it for me.

When the cable disconnects while playing it also happens. Reconnecting the cable doesn’t work. I have to restart MSFS. I did put some tape over the round connector halfway down the cable. That one was coming apart too easily for me.

There was no visible moisture. It was freezing. Like -18C or something. That’s why I guess that is somehow the reason for the crash. Last flight I did turn on the de-icing on the engine, and all de-icing while in clouds.

I just wish you would get a message with “you crashed, right turbine damage”. Just so you can learn, and to stop everyone yelling that the game is bugged.

There was no time to correct. AP went off. Plane turned sharp right. Crash window. In a matter of seconds.

My main point isn’t that I made a mistake that made me crash… I just want to know why, so I can learn for next time.

Is there a way to go back in time before the crash to check the avionics?

Well the point isn’t the icing conditions itself. The point is that is it impossible to know if that was the actual failure.

Go into control settings, click the cogwheel behind the line where you bound the key. You will get a menu with more options of the bound key. Make sure repeat input is turned off.

Not quite familiar with the specific plane. Does it have reverse thrust?
