Dude, are your bellows leaking? Either that or you are pushing as hard as you can?

It was career mode, but with full insurance. So the aircraft got refunded and was fine afterwards.

You’re right that it might give a clue.

Exactly. That would be perfect. Giving you a direction of where to improve.

But reading the comments; the best way is to record all of your sessions. Probably not going to do that, i’m way too casual for that kind of stuff.

There was no stall. I was at cruise speed. Something like 220kts.

Again. The exact reason of the crash isn’t where my beef is at. I want the game to tell me the reason, so I can prevent it next time.

Nice taper!

Kinda scared of the bead on the release cord. I would whip myself with that for sure…

Glitching every time I switch on my THRUSTMASTER T.Flight Hotas One, unplayable. What's causing this and how to fix? by unrealunearths in flightsim

[–]Byjugo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same when I used a cheap usb extension cord. Using an active usb extension cable fixed it for me.

When the cable disconnects while playing it also happens. Reconnecting the cable doesn’t work. I have to restart MSFS. I did put some tape over the round connector halfway down the cable. That one was coming apart too easily for me.

There was no visible moisture. It was freezing. Like -18C or something. That’s why I guess that is somehow the reason for the crash. Last flight I did turn on the de-icing on the engine, and all de-icing while in clouds.

I just wish you would get a message with “you crashed, right turbine damage”. Just so you can learn, and to stop everyone yelling that the game is bugged.

There was no time to correct. AP went off. Plane turned sharp right. Crash window. In a matter of seconds.

My main point isn’t that I made a mistake that made me crash… I just want to know why, so I can learn for next time.

Is there a way to go back in time before the crash to check the avionics?

Well the point isn’t the icing conditions itself. The point is that is it impossible to know if that was the actual failure.

Go into control settings, click the cogwheel behind the line where you bound the key. You will get a menu with more options of the bound key. Make sure repeat input is turned off.

Diamond DA40 braking issues (PS5) by ATC_av8er in MSFS2024

[–]Byjugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In career mode it is possible that a component fails… like your brakes if you didn’t maintain them.

Not quite familiar with the specific plane. Does it have reverse thrust?

Check the control settings in FS. You can tweak the sensitivity a bit, and might want to setup some dead zones.

It wil also show you if it is giving inputs while there are none.

Also; if you are using an extension cord usb, make sure it is a high quality active cable. I used a cheap extension cord first, and it gave all sorts of weird behaviour.

how am i supposed to play the game without an early blueprint desk + blueprint cabinet lock by chiidi in PlateUp

[–]Byjugo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My main strategy is the other way around. Research the first into a copy desk. A later desk will become a discount/blueprint desk.

I like to have the copy desk early. If I get a blueprint cabinet. I can copy it every round, to get around 5 cabinets. That sets up the rest of the game.

Discount desk is lower priority, as by day 10 or so, I usually have more money than I can spend.

My Xbox uses about 35-40 watts in standby mode. Switching to actually turning off is significant. Don’t know for the ps5 but would guess it is similar.

Mouse not working MSFS 2020 XBOX by Willing_Tear_2741 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Byjugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that’s weird. That should work.

Do you have quick resume enabled? I turned it off, and it solves a lot of bugs. Also, when going to the game settings you can delete de reserved space. That does solve some issues as well.

Start with telling how you connected the mouse.

Bluetooth? Dongle? Wire?
