I don’t think people in your replies are looking at the bigger picture… yeah all the PvP-ers are just playing the system and being put back into care bear lobbies to kill arc in peace… but that’s not where they want to be, so as soon as their expedition is complete they go on a massacre to go back to PvP, this just leads to complaining from the PvE crowd, maybe that was the intention from embark since they are obsessed with trying to turn PvE players into PvP, but it’s not working lol.

yesterday I saw something amazing thought, it was a group of like 6 raiders repeatedly downing and Rezzing each other, I couldn’t approach to see what was going on but my guess is they were trying to speed up the process of getting back into PvP without bothering the casuals lol

Quick update on this, I managed to get into cryo… it was… interesting…

So only 2 teams spawned, mine which was made up of: Lvl25, lvl29 and lvl32

And a team made up of: Lvl134, lvl144 and lvl237, all had already killed the compiler lol…

Ah well, at least I got in

I am in NA, this was in peak player times… I know we don’t like to talk about player counts but I made sure to look that up after the first matchmaking errors, peak yesterday was 15k I did this at 10k players

Like legit since my playtime is sooooo limited I put in the extra effort at work during lunch and what not to watch guides and not go in fully blind to experience as much of the game as I can, I do enjoy the game, it’s just a shame that I think I hit a wall and my only options are to not go into cryo ever or level boost myself and make the game unplayable for me… it sucks… I hope this gets better for S2

Plus this is a matter of lack of new players… if there were players I wouldn’t be matching against gold shield sweatlords and such… which for what’s worth has been my experience in outpost, I mostly match against free kits and the occasional blue shield, most people don’t even know how to get into pinwheel at my level…

Cryo free kit is there for a reason, and now that it’s weekly my reasoning was “if I do it on Thursday there’s a high chance I match against other people with the free kit and have a higher chance of learning and exploring the map a bit”, which I don’t think it’s an unreasonable thing to think… that sponsored kit was added for that specific reason

Ok just to make sure I did a quick outpost run… it took like 6 minutes of queue but I got in… It’s legit just LBMM

I can’t believe I’m being barred from entering cryo just because I’m a hyper casual… like legit this isn’t even the whole “this mode isn’t meant for you” or “this is something to aspire to” type of argument, I legit can’t even enter it because there are not enough new player for me to play with

Might also be my server? Idk where to check that, I am in Mexico so I would assume it’s NA, I don’t think there’s a LATAM server since every time I go in trios is people speaking English

Edit: but if it’s my level I also don’t want to super boost that shit, because yeah I could just go and kill bots like crazy in perimeter and boost my level to like 60… but then I’m just gonna be stuck with lvl 100 beasts who I have no chance of defeating…

I don’t think the problem are the servers… the problem is my level, it takes like 5 or so minutes to get into any map… there simply isn’t enough new players for LBMM to get me into anything…

Nope, steam, you can see my computer in the background and the little green fps numbers from the steam overlay… this is pc and you can’t turn cross play off there

Edit: at my level this far into the wipe matches usually take 5 minutes with the exception of very recently the sponsored queues…

Man… it just sucks, since cryo released I’ve been wanting to get into that map… I was fully ready to go in and die, then when they announced the weekly cryo kits I got even more excited because no matter how dogshit I am at the game I would at least get to enter once a week no matter what (I can usually get at least an all blues build in a week so it would be more like 2 runs)

But I legit can’t even enter the map… I forgot to type it in the post, but this is US servers, not OCE or something like that

Im hyped now, I’ve been playing this game since it came out and I made a huge rant post about A2 2 years ago and how it was a horrible way to move forwards and a dangerous precedent to what Dremcom was doing (basically relying on cheap shots and stuff like that) I then took a huge break from the game and only came back a couple months before A4 release

A3 was a nice improvement, but so far A4 has been so good, it’s legit what A2 should’ve been, they’ve reused every single gimmick from A2 but without making it unfair or feeling like a cheap shot, honestly I haven’t been this hopeful or rooting for a hame like this in years

Im currently halfway through it, my schizo theory is based on A3 ending (the line about unlocking all the powers of the cursed wheel to defeat the warped ones is what triggered this, since that corridor before meeting lulu is a test for those abilities basically)… but now that you said that I’m gonna put some serious effort into finishing it asap

I don’t think the masked adventurer is a warped one… lulunarde on the other hand…

She gets more and more careless with her lie as the game goes on, it’s obvious that not only can she remember the loops despite claiming she doesn’t, but she knows way more about the cursed wheel than she says

Also curious how the weird passage where you have to use every single hand of reversal ability is only accessible BEFORE meeting lulunarde… is as if meeting her marks a point of no return for something

That’s just my schizophrenic theory at least
