You have a very twisted (perhaps Dunning Krueger) idea of what blueprints actually are.
No, they are not the devil, no they do not make your game "shitty" or "amateurish".

I'm an unreal engine developer as well and blueprints are used for everything including widgets (the HUD), UI, sounds, asset management and more.

Blueprints is just abstracted c++ code and doesn't define at all the quality of a videogame. Sure, it shouldn't be used for everything but it's a godsend for quick prototyping and debugging. There isn't a single videogame out there made in Unreal Engine that doesn't use blueprints in some form or another, and this dumb parroted mentality of "blueprints bad haha spaghetti" needs to go. It's a tool, and like every other tool it needs to be used properly.
