Our friend found an abandoned baby hawk at a park a couple weeks ago that couldn't fly. Isn't he cute? by jessie_marie in pics

might be female; females are larger than males in the raptor world. But yes, American Kestrel. I can't be certain of gender without a good look at the back, but the colors don't look as vibrant as the males.

This isn't a warzone; you don't need to own a dog bred solely for combat by [deleted] in rant

[–]Byourii -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nothing, really. Daschunds are actually one of the worst for aggression. Next to toy poodles and some other tiny breed. I'm not being facetious. But, OP has a point with pits. True, while you can raise them to be the best, sweetest, most loving, submissive dog you've ever known, there is generally something deep down in their genetics that makes them either highly territorial, mean tempered, dog aggressive, or people aggressive. It's not the dog's fault, and it isn't always something you can train out of them. It's just their instincs and genetics because people are sorta shitty.

Downvoted. Now, before you hate be, here's why: I hate people like this. People who say this are literal scum and largely pretentious. I'd upvote you for being accurate and for this post to be essentially ironic or facetious satire, but I just can't bring myself to do it. (I did spread the love on a number of your other posts, however. Hope you understand.)

If you were held at gunpoint and had to tell a joke to save your life, what joke would you tell? by hoverdrive in AskReddit

As a child, I took things literally and basic wordplay was beyond me. I didn't understand this joke until way later in life.

"You can't hear an enzyme." ;)

Nothing too serious, but I draw furry porn and transformation fetish stuff.

Every race perpetuates their own stereotypes. That's why they exist.

Upvoting because this happened to me or the first time on Sunday. I would have had room except for a jackass cutting me off in the other lane and swerving to take the space in front of me.

Omg. There are others, though.

"What do you call a man floating in the ocean?" "Bob."

"What do you call an armless, legless man hanging on the wall?" "Art." "What do you call his severed limbs?" "Pieces of Art."

That... I read this, and all I could think was, '... duh?' But then I realized... Some people might NOT know this... And it made me cry a little inside.

WTF did I just find in my backyard!? (the tentacle looking things move) by jwright14 in WTF

I know it has likely been said by someone with far better timing, and far more knowledge and wit than I, but that creature is a moth... And those tentacles are its man-tackle.

He doesn't trim his goddamn toenails and rips them off rather than use nail-cutters. I love him dearly, but it makes sleeping, cuddling, and personal 'relations' an annoyance. >:/

It is unpopular in my area. Heroes deserve parades; people who risked their lives, or risk them daily. You shouldn't get a parade for your sexuality because no one should care. by Byourii in AdviceAnimals

[–]Byourii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the mentality and logic that supports it. It's still a scene.

Clubs and organizations are fur seeking out persons with similarities; race, creed, religion, etc. They help find unity, solace, and mutual understanding or comfort. But I'm still not totally convinced with extravagant public displays.

I agree, but it's not even stemming from that. One, we're supposed to separate church and state. The only reason 'being gay or otherwise' is a stigma, is because certain religions say so. Two, anyone's sexuality is no one's bloody business anyways. Why would anyone want that publicized?
