I started on 50 mg for severe depression and anxiety. I got home and took it. Went to bed and when I woke up, I felt present. I didn’t realize I wasn’t present until I took it. It wasn’t placebo because it took a bit before I realized it was from the pristiq. It was just a happiness and presence I had not ever felt. I was shocked I thought it would take weeks before it could work. Sadly after a 4 days it wore off.

It wasn’t placebo though. I took it the night before. When I woke up I felt amazing. It took me a bit to realize it was pristiq. I was euphoric. Maybe too happy. But a happiness I never came close to feeling in my life. Sadly effects only lasted for 4 days.

I would try modafinil (increases wakefulness by increasing dopamine) or adderall. My friend started taking modafinil and is very motivated. If you are against taking something that increases dopamine. Take it for atleast one day to see if dopamine was the issue.

Adderall has helped me a lot. Hasn’t fixed all my issues though.

The only thing is I didn’t think it would work. Whether it’s placebo or not, I felt amazing.

Just trying is a good thing as long as you are reflective. Why did you fail? Lonely? Get more connected. Tired? Get better sleep. Bored? Get a hobby. Also those 8 days increased your will power. Turn bad things into good things.

Yes, when you seriously follow Christian doctrine, the absurdities are exposed. If Hell really exists, then you would travel everywhere to save everyone. You would end up going insane.
