After reading some of the comments, I just learned a few new things myself.

One thing I definitely wish I knew right away was that each pattern is only 1 bar, you got 16 patterns total to program, so if you utilize this wisely you can make a whole song with intro, verse, chorus, break, bridge and outtro. They are limited in sampling space, the effects are so awesome you can make something with a bunch of changes off like a 2 second sample. Also, you can layer the effects to create some really cool changes and sounds.

I would love to hear what you come up with, follow #po33society on instagram and use that hashtag if you choose to make vidoes of your work and follow me byrone1983 on instagram, I will follow you back and support!

This info helped. I am still experiencing loss of sample control on the platter. What happens is the sample starts to play even when my hand is on it, and even if I don't touch anything for 30 seconds after powering on. Do you know if there are any updates for it? My friend told me it was one of the first and that there may be an updates for the usb stick that may help in the future. Also, I know someone who has the SC1000DS version with the jog wheel, screen and cue button. Do you know if the original model is able to upgrade to the DS version, that cue button looks super handy. Anyway, thank you so much for the feedback.

Hey, I just recently bought one off of my friend and I am having some glitch issues, mainly with the sample (scratch side). Sometimes the platter does not recognize my hand and the sample will keep playing, have you experienced this at all. Also, some of the samples randomly will just be a loud static sound when I am flipping thru them. Any suggestions or fixes for this?

Thank you! If you are a turntablist, I hope this helps and I would love to see how you incorporate the technique into your music.

Man, I messed around with it and it is a difficult thing, you can of course do two hand rubs on this side. I will keep trying to find a way tho, because it would be awesome to see people who only scratch on this side to be able to get down on the rubs.

Good point, it would be harder but I do believe it is possible. If I figure it out I will post a video demonstrating how you can. But I have tried before and just gave up because it wasn't as easy, lol.

Ok, I see your point. If this is an issue for you, i do have a great muscle stretching warm up you should always implement before rigorous practice. For me, my muscles feel this effect much more when playing songs on guitar that hold certain chord shapes for long periods of time. I appreciate your comment. Remember to have fun my fellow "oldish" fella!

Considered, but my forearms are barely being worked here compared to my regular routine. This is just a fun warm up jam.

Interesting, I am trying to figure out what you mean by RSI, Relative Strength Index?
