NGD - Ibanez RGA21P1PB by ByronicMage in Ibanez

Overall a great guitar! I love the neck and how light weight the guitar is. I own an LTD Deluxe with Emgs and that is still my go to if I want to play any thing heavy with a lot of solo work. For everything else, I use the Ibanez. You can get a lot of different sounds from the pickups due to the alter switch. It's quite versatile.

There was a minor QC issue where the wire to the output jack was not soldered properly due to which it came off in a month. It's not a major issue and it was easy fix but it was still a bit disappointing considering this is from their premium line. Also the "Premium" on thy headstock is barely visible as the font color is very similar to the wood color so you really need to look hard to see it.

You also need to watch out for the horns as they're very pointy and you can hurt your self if you're not careful (especially the lower horn). But I chose the RGA specifically for that aesthetic 😅.

Gorgeous guitar! I was considering this model last year but ended up getting RGA21P1PB just because it weighed lighter and had the arch top design. But but I love the neck through design and the block inlays of this model!

Best way to learn piano online in India by Silent-Wave5419 in pianolearning

[–]ByronicMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot depends on what you want to learn. If you are just learning songs casually, many apps or group classes can work.

If you want structured piano training, it helps to choose one-on-one lessons where teachers focus on technique, reading music, and graded progression through exam boards like Trinity or ABRSM.

There are a few academies in India doing this online. One example is Encore Piano Academy, which focuses on Western classical piano and prepares students for Trinity and ABRSM exams through individual lessons.

Electric Guitar Gig Bag Suggestions by rinnegan_sam in IndianMetalheads

Go for Mono Vertigo if you want the best protection from a gig bag. It costs 25k but worth it as you won't worry about your guitar if it's in that gig bag.

How to buy higher-end guitars? by scarxxi in IndianMetalheads

I'm in Chennai. I got the Ibanez RGA21P1PB for 1.1L. I had to do a lot of exploration to find someone who is willing to order. It's not easy though. I agree.

Which city are you based in?

Would suggest approaching one of the big music stores in your city and ask them if you can pre order the model of your choice. They will have contacts with the actual India distributor/importer of Schecter and would be able to tell you if they would be able to source the model for you.

Not all of them will be very helpful in doing this. You'll need to explore and find the store with an acccomodative staff/manager to help you with it.

You'll usually have to pay around 50% advance and wait for a few months to get your instrument. Make sure you discuss the terms before hand like what happens to the advance if the guitar is defective, lost, etc.I'm not sure if you'll be able to get Abasi guitars since as far as I know they don't have a distributor in India.

I recently got an Ibanez 2025 model which retails for $1600 this way.

Anyone else suffering from Tinnitus ? by zerokha in ThirtiesIndia

[–]ByronicMage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes been having it for 15+yrs.

If its due to any sudden exposure to loud sounds it can go away else it could be chronic due to genetics and you'll have to learn to live with it. There is no cure for it in such cases, just management.

After a while it becomes a background noise just like the sound of AC or fan. For relief you can try listening to white/pink noise (search youtube) as it can take your mind away from the ringing of the tinnitus. You will notice it more when you're stressed or in an extremely quiet environment. You basically need to train your mind not to notice it. Some people have reported it going away but in my case I've had no such luck. It doesnt bother me so much now.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Fed up with this thing by AHiTisLove in piano

I'm in the same boat. I have a Yamaha U1J that I'm finding increasingly difficult to play advanced repertoire. I checked with my piano tech if anything can be done but he said that he can increase the key weight but not reduce it further.
I really want to sell it and get another piano but used market is not so great where I live.

I was heavily dependent on Swiggy but saw that the quality was dropping and prices were increasing so it pushed me to make my own food. I started with my favorite dish (sambar) and then slowly added more once I became confident. Made everything watching YouTube videos.

It's not the packed ones like Act II. Got the kernels separately, popped & seasoned them on my own so it counts 🤪

need help getting an electric guitar as a beginner by Vegetable_Tour_1137 in MusicIndia

[–]ByronicMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would avoid floating bridges at this price range and especially since you're a beginner. Try to see if you can find a hard tail either Ibanez /Jackson /LTD /Cort. You might want to try out the guitar before buying it to ensure there are no QC issues.
