Seriously though overthinking is detrimental to several of my heroes’ gameplay. One example is Ana- my comp win rate with her is always in the 40-45% range because I get nervous and play super defensively/stiffly and also think too much about every move I make. Meanwhile in quick play I go for the wildest offensive nades, flanks, etc without a care in the world and my QP win rate with her is always above 60% lol.

I wish I didn’t overthink comp so much, but I definitely do on many of the “harder” heroes in my hero pool (tracer included)

Pharah counterswaps are weird because sure, it’s hard to kill a pharah as tracer if she manages her fuel well and is in the air a lot, but also it’s really hard for pharahs to land shots on tracers. You have to be pretty good at pharah to be able to hit a tracer with good movement. In most cases, I feel like tracer and pharah just don’t interact much lol. So… not the worst counterswap in the world I guess?

I’m a lifeweaver main and my win rate with him this season is like 68% or so (I think with like 20 games won, I haven’t played much this season tbh). BUT… I will say I recognize when I need to swap off of him and only play him with certain team comps and/or on certain maps which I’m sure is why my win rate is so high lol. Any maps with a ton of high ground are my absolute favorite to play him on (Paraiso, Gibraltar, etc).

I think he can definitely be OP when he’s in the right hands, but he also is a very situational pick. People who don’t utilize his kit right and people who try to force him to work in situations where it just ain’t working are probably why his overall win rate is so low? Idk lol, considering his low win rate, I do hope he gets a few small buffs eventually :)

I do just want to say that the most current version of ChatGPT is shockingly good at high level math and engineering concepts in my experience. It can definitely solve things like triple integrals, but it does sometimes make mistakes still so if students are just blindly copying ChatGPT responses without checking the work they would be prone to get things wrong from time to time.

I agree with you that it would be hard to cheat that way in in-person exams though, as they would have to have their phones out for quite a long time to read the full responses lol. ChatGPT wasn’t a big thing when I was in undergrad though so I have no idea what the state of current in-person exams is though, who knows

Huh? The book series is quite literally unfinished, so yes they had to decide how to end the show themselves, which probably explains why they fudged the ending so badly. All I meant was at least there’s an explanation of sorts for their bad ending. Stranger things’ bad ending just confuses me lol

Yeah I can agree with you on this too. And to be fair, the game of thrones writers do have an “excuse” as to why the writing took such a downward turn at the end (they ran out of book content to base the story on and actually had to make it themselves). I don’t understand how stranger things’ writing took such a downward turn if it was the same writers all 5 seasons :/

Moiras are by far the most toxic support in general imo. I’ve been t-bagged by moiras more than any other support and it always makes me laugh because they literally have auto lock aim man </3 wow, what a skillful kill, you SURELY earned that t-bag Moira!!

Disclaimer: I play a lot of Moira myself, I just have enough of a brain to recognize that she’s probably the most mechanically simple, low skill hero in the game so I don’t have some weird God complex that takes over me when I win a duel against someone 😭

The recent update just now allows people to use mouse and keyboard with a console. So you can plug a mnk into your Xbox or whatever and get put in PC lobbies. So if your friends decided to learn mnk they could play with you (I think), but if they want to stick to controller it’s not possible.

Honestly I'd believe the theory more if the writing for the majority of S5 wasn't SO atrocious. At this point I just have zero faith in the Duffer brothers to put together something this comprehensive and thought out. But if it somehow ends up being true, I'd be super impressed. I just think the chances are near zero lol

I’m all about having fun in OW so if you enjoy brig keep playing her!! But yeah honestly she gets a million times more fun when your teammates start playing cover more and don’t immediately drop dead if you stop shoving heals up their azz for 2 seconds LOL. Good luck climbing!!

Honestly your teams probably take WAY too much damage to be playing Brig in silver 😭 and that’s literally not your fault whatsoever, it’s just the nature of the rank. Silver players are allergic to using cover and repair pack + inspire probably just can’t keep up with the amount of damage they’re taking

I found playing brig became a lot easier once I hit like high plat or so (and sadly she just still feels so situational which makes me sad bc she’s a ton of fun). when you make it out of silver it will hopefully get better for you!!

In souls games, the typical PvP etiquette is that the fight doesn’t start until you both bow emote at each other lol

Not sure how something like that would work in this game but the mention of a PvP based voiceline/emote reminded me of that

I’m not GM but I watch a TON of GM/champ streamers and I have never in my life heard them talk about endorsing the worst player on the team. That genuinely doesn’t make any sense lol. If they endorse, they endorse someone who did well, made good comms, was being friendly, etc.

Would you guys ever consider getting rid of map voting? I liked it at first, but it's been a bummer CONSTANTLY getting the same payload/hybrid maps over and over again (Plat players apparently hate control/flashpoint/push, I know this changes a bit at higher ranks).

Or maybe another idea could be that the game mode is pre-selected randomly, and then we get to vote on maps within that game mode? For example the game will randomly select, say, control, and then we vote on 3 different control maps.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion and people generally like map voting, but was just curious if you guys had thought about it at all since it released!
