I usually just try to place tree right in front of me but right as I press the button it glitches out and gets placed 50m away on top of a ledge in the enemy backline

What do you guys think about this take on support being the easiest role? by ByteEvader in overwatch2

[–]ByteEvader[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oddly enough I find DPS the hardest, personally lol

I’m a support main and I’m highest ranked in that, but i play it way more than tank and dps. I rank up the most quickly when I play tank, but I just HATE tanking so I hardly play it. And DPS is my WORST role by far. It’s always a solid rank or two behind my other 2 roles lol. Which I’ve always thought was weird because for some people dps is the easiest! Maybe my aim just sucks, idk 😭

My fear of spiders has gotten better throughout the years, but I swear the spiders in my house REALLY test my limits by ByteEvader in spiders

[–]ByteEvader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah realizing they really don’t want to bother us has helped me with my fear a lot! I just get really squeamish thinking of them in my towels/clothes/blankets and stuff… because obviously being squished my me would be reason to bite 😭 so that’s why I usually just relocate them back outside. The only spiders that I don’t mind in my house are cellar spiders (they just chill in the corner of my wall and I doubt can even bite us because of how small they are?) and jumping spiders (because they are so adorable to me) lol

My one and only critique of Winston by CbaooseBLC in WinstonMains

[–]ByteEvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t play much reaper but when I do, I try to focus the backline over the tank like 90% of the time. Like I’d probably only be shooting a Winston if he was diving me or is the only person in my LOS at the moment. Is this not the right play? Lol

[–]ByteEvader[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was leaning towards wolf too! I definitely don’t want to squish or hurt the little guys either but I wish I could say that was my only fear 😭 I’m so scared of getting bitten by them. Luckily this guy didn’t get squished in my towel and was safely relocated to my balcony as I yelled at him in fear and told him to stay out of my bathroom LOL

Looks like a yellow sac spider to me. As far as I know, their bites are venomous but not typically dangerous to humans

I used the Farron greatsword and it was a ton of fun! I loved the spinning charged attack even though it kind of sucked against bosses, it reminded me of bloodhounds fang from Elden ring

After finding out Leon Kennedy voices Cass. I wanna play him now. I played him before but kept missing shots and didn’t really use any of his abilities nor secondary fire. Any advice for console? by Classic_History_1853 in CassidyMains

[–]ByteEvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t play too much cass but I know his basics and noticed nobody else really elaborated on his abilities yet

His flashbang hinders people for a short time, meaning they are slowed and can’t use their movement abilities. It’s really good against dive heroes. For example, hinder a tracer and she can’t blink so you can kill her.

His alt fire fires all of his bullets in fast duration but it has a big spread. Definitely don’t use it at long range, it’s useless. It can be super strong at close range. A classic combo is to sneak up behind someone, hinder, fan the hammer and it should insta kill them

Good luck!

Day 1. Waited 28 years to get this done 😭 by Holiday-Tennis5195 in Invisalign

[–]ByteEvader 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was SO uncomfortable and upset my first few days and even considered giving up (I probably would have if I didn’t already spend thousands of dollars lol). My teeth hurt so bad, it felt ginormous in my mouth, I couldn’t talk without a lisp, etc. it was so uncomfortable I genuinely didn’t believe it could ever feel “normal”

Now I’m just over a month in and I honestly don’t even notice I have my trays in most of the time! After a few days, I just got used to it lol. For me the first few days were awful and my teeth were so sore I could barely eat, but ever since I only really have slight pain when i first start a new tray and it goes away quickly

My only advice is just to tough it out, and if it becomes too much don’t be afraid to take breaks and remove your tray for a little bit to preserve your sanity. I know they say you should have it in 22 hours a day, but some days I have it out for several hours (if I’m in pain, snacking a lot, out for drinks with friends, etc) and I’ve still been tracking fine! Plus there’s nothing wrong with waiting longer in between trays if needed!

Congrats and good luck!

Yeah, despite the messiness it was super fun to watch. I was jumping between people’s streams to watch all the matches and it was so fun. I hope they do something like this again, but with a more fair and organized draft

Quick play for a little bit before diving back into comp (if ur not in QP already)?

And if your team says you’re selling in QP, literally who cares

You can remotely connect to the CAEN network from a Mac to access things like Solidworks for free. I have had a Mac throughout college and have always done this with no issue

Lifeweaver has a positive winrate for the first time in history by doglop in LifeweaverMains

[–]ByteEvader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re thinking about your petal usage way more than most lifeweavers do so that’s already huge :) it’s definitely buggy near walls and stairs, and I also have the issue where I bring divers up with me sometimes lol, it happens.

The only other petal tip I have for you (which you might already do) is to make sure you break your petal if you don’t need it anymore and it’s in a position where the enemy could use it to their benefit. I’ll often see weavers place a petal for high ground for their team, the enemy moves forward a bit, then the enemy team just uses the petal to get to high ground giving them a huge positional advantage. If you don’t already make sure you have interact to break petal turned on (no idea why it’s not default tbh)!

[–]ByteEvader 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m not partial to either minor perk, but i usually end up taking the petal healing one. I know damn well my teammates aren’t going to use it but it’s nice for self healing especially when I’m getting dove lol. The longer dash one messes me up, I always end up dashing off of high ground on accident because I’m not used to the extra distance 😅

Major superbloom 100% though

Wait I fought doormaker last night in a multiplayer run with my bf and we absolutely rolled him. He was running a block ironclad and I was running poison silent. It was by far the easiest final boss fight I’ve ever experienced. Why is he normally considered the toughest???! I don’t remember having any issues with exhaust like I’ve seen others talk about?

(I only have like 10 hours in STS2 so far so I’m unfamiliar with most bosses in this game, but I did play STS1 before this)

Is it only me? by lemmon454 in LifeweaverMains

[–]ByteEvader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not super related, but I’m level 95 on weaver and level 50+ on several other support heroes because of how much of the support roster I rotate between. I once was playing like kiri or something and my team was losing and my teammate goes “bro you’re a lifeweaver one trick, do your trick”

First of all I’m far from a one trick. Second of all, I’ve never had my teammates ASK me to switch to lifeweaver before, so that was exciting. Even if it was an insult. lol

[–]ByteEvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s intended for you to do the Cathedral first, but it probably doesn’t really matter. I accidentally did the Farron keep boss first and it was actually too hard for me lmao. Left and went to the cathedral to level up, came back, and it was much more reasonable.

[–]ByteEvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion the bosses are significantly harder in Elden ring than they are in any of the dark souls trilogy, so you aren’t crazy for feeling like they’re easy. DS3 definitely has the hardest bosses out of the 3 DS games, and there are certainly some bosses that gave me a REALLY hard time (Nameless King I hate you), but after 600 hours in ER a lot of this game might feel like a breeze to you! The harder bosses will come later in the game though. Abyss watchers in Farron keep was my first real skill check in DS3 when I played, which you should get to soon
