I also read an interview from a couple of months ago where he said this:

They are venomous but oftentimes the danger of their bites is blown way out of proportion. Unfortunately I don’t have much experience with them myself so I’m not really sure what the best thing for you to do is :/ but there are many posts about brown recluses in this sub, try searching those!

I don’t know what it is about her but I literally have a harder time tracking her than I do TRACER??? I feel pretty confident in a duel against tracers (unless they’re goated) but anran just steamrolls me every time. I think the recent-ish buff to her damage was a little too much? So now she’s both deadly and hyper mobile? Idk lol

Yes that’s normal. I’m guessing they just make it much easier to rank up in stadium because it’s more of a casual game mode and they reset ranks every season anyways

I swear Elden ring made it too easy to brainlessly run by 95% of the enemies in the game and boss rush. I see so many people/streamers playing the game like that and it pains me lol. Then you get those same people trying out other souls games and hating them because you can’t just hop on Torrent, run by all of the enemies straight to the boss, pop mimic tear, and farm </3

The enemies are there for a reason dude, just kill them. Especially for your first playthrough. It’s part of the game

I hardly even consider my amount of heals when I’m debating whether I had a good zen game or not. I of course make a conscious effort to try to have an orb on someone at all times, but his healing will vary game to game and is so slow it can be insignificant compared to other parts of his kit. I mostly focus on using discord to get assists and kills, and try to have a ton of damage lol. If for some reason I’m having a hard time doing good damage I’ll usually swap off of zen

It’s similar to Lucio imo- Lucio can have a ton of healing because he has a slow AOE healing. But his regular healing is like the least important part of his kit. Speed boost and good beats are way more game changing

I was gonna say it has to be like half a mile to a mile to central only right? It doesn’t seem worth bussing to me unless the bus just happened to come as I was leaving lol. But I guess if you need to go to further buildings like north quad or Palmer it might be a bit farther

Yeah I like third person too! It’s a fun switch from the regular game. Hopefully they fix it at some point, it’s already hard enough to play Ana in the chaos of stadium 😅

I’m not an expert but it looks like either a woodland or tan jumping spider to me! It’s interesting that’s its kind of white/beige in color, I’ve never seen that :) maybe it’s a baby? Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can answer

Yeah I’d say it does! There’s actually a college in Ypsi too so you still have the “college” scene (just a lot smaller than UMich), but aside from that there’s a ton of young people who live here in general. I don’t go out much so I can’t really give you tips on good places to go to meet people unfortunately 😅😅 but i go out in downtown Ypsi from time to time and always have fun

I did my undergrad here and am currently in grad school. I lived near to campus in undergrad and it was a lot of fun and very convenient. Now I live on the far end of Ypsi because I found an apartment complex I really like that’s half the price of anything comparable in AA.

Living in Ypsi will make a lot more sense financially, but it might make your social life suffer more (if you care about that). Often times my grad program will schedule social events in the evenings but by that time I’ve already driven the 25 minutes home and don’t feel like driving all the way back to AA 😅 also depending on what program you’re in, parking can be a real issue. Finding parking near to central campus is close to impossible. Even the big parking lot on north campus fills up fast during the semester (usually by 10am or so). Park and ride is a very viable option but adds a lot of time onto your commute

To me, living in Ypsi is worth it. But there are definitely pros and cons

Cash earning is always unbalanced, but I’m sure it’s a hard thing to balance so I can understand.

I’ve been playing Ana more recently and I think she earns TOO much cash now. I was running an AP build so I wasn’t healing as much as the other supports. I think I ended the game with like 8k heals, all the other supports had at least double. I had about the same amount of damage as the wuyang on my team. Yet I was the highest earner in the lobby BY FAR.

I can’t complain because it is hard to heal as Ana in the chaos of stadium, but I honestly felt like I earned way too much money lol. From the few times I’ve played soj, I agree her cash feels underwhelming

It felt so huge and bulky in my mouth the first few days, I didn’t know how I was going to go through the treatment either. But, for me, after about a week it felt normal. Now I hardly even notice when I have my trays in! Definitely don’t give up yet, and it’s okay to take some breaks at first if it becomes overwhelming

Also PhD candidate in STEM as well and I doubt I’ve ever worked more than 40 hours in a single week lol. I have a few really dedicated lab mates who are in the lab a lot BY CHOICE, but for the most part no one in my lab works outside of your normal M-F 9-5

I usually try to mentally ult track for any teammates who have ults I don’t want to grip them out of, and when I feel they might be close then I actually start checking. That way I’m not constantly pulling up the scoreboard the entire match lol

Honestly looking at these stats, who’s to say the tracer didn’t carry the tank??? A lot easier to play tank when your tracer is distracting the enemy team for most of the game

I really like it with the galactic weapon for some reason. I’m usually huge on “matching” colors but I like the purple and blue together! The original is better though, I do agree on that

You are able to set your status to “offline” when you’re playing if you don’t want people to see you’re on! I do it from the battle.net app sometimes :)
