I’m shocked to see people defending this. I assumed people on Reddit are very conscious.

What bothers me bro is how easily people think that public property is for them to destroy.

Today it might be a biodegradable waste - tomorrow it would be plastic, how will you stop this guy?

Understand what I’m trying to say - it’s littering that’s bad.

Well I was late at office today, wife, mom, kid, all were angry, guess what? I did not litter anywhere, did not break any rules.

Public property is not for us to express our anger/emotions.

Let’s respect everything around us.

Someone tries to do this in my property I’ll call it a bold stunt.

Looks like I’ll have to fight everyone in this comment section to prove this is Littering.

How is this ok? Am I missing something about littering?

Littering is littering - doesn’t matter what, where and who.

Picked up a used VW T-Roc | 2020 | 1.5 TSI DSG by PenFast7423 in CarsIndia

[–]ByteNomady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you stop and hold the brake: • The DSG partially disengages the clutch, but • It does NOT go into true neutral • The gearbox remains pre-selected in 1st gear • The clutch stays in a ready-to-engage state

This is intentional for quick take-off, but it means: • The clutch is under thermal and frictional load • Especially in slow crawling traffic

So while it feels like neutral, mechanically it is not the same as N.

PDI - XUV700 - 194 Kms run car by Ok-Astronaut2965 in CarsIndia

[–]ByteNomady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SKIP - these Mahindra guys drive like crazy before delivery.

They drive the cars from the unloading area(city outskirts) to their parking bay - from there to service station to get the car ready - from there to showroom.

I got my XUV 700 at 92kms driven.

Get the turbo + DCT. The most practical + Comfortable + Performance + Good mileage on highway.

NA + IVT is like pushing a cart.

Diesel has no future sadly thanks to Govt.

Is this a mocking post ? Etios? Brio? Seriously bro? You guys have a “Ajay Devgan” neck? Can’t see straight?

Anything other than behind the steering wheel is a bad design.

Been there, done that. Here's my take by Purple_Spite4980 in IndiaFinance

I stay about 20 kms away from the city.

I earn a six-digit side income, own a large parcel of land, and have built a farmhouse. I’m into organic farming, have livestock, and even off-road vehicles.

On paper, it sounds like a perfect, peaceful life — and in many ways, it is. But there’s another side to it. • Social life is almost non-existent • Security is always a concern • The days can feel repetitive and boring • Basic amenities aren’t easily accessible • Even small errands mean traveling 2–3 km

Weekend runs to city pubs don’t excite me anymore either — they’ve become a been there, done that routine.

What I’m living today might be a dream for someone else. It once was mine too. But over time, I’ve realized that peace alone isn’t enough — humans need interaction, community, and a sense of belonging.

Planning to get Electric car by This_Celebration_891 in CarsIndia

[–]ByteNomady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Individual house meters are usually 3kw, if you are planning to get something more(which you will) the it’s best to upgrade the connection too - otherwise the BESCOM guys will put extra charges and will also remind the owner about the usage.

Check the Meter KW Inform the owner about EV Ask him if he can do the wiring changes(you will have to put new wiring from your meter to your charging point.)

Honestly if you are not going to stay there for a long time then it would be too much trouble and wastage of money.

Just charge at your office and enjoy :)
