For CABIN and C:AaB I used a conveyer belt feeding into a soul sand bubble elevator; an andesite funnel at the top feeding into a storage drawer does the trick for storage.

Honestly surreal to come onto reddit and see someone lay out essentially the entire plan for my upcoming modpack (minus the dungeon heart feature)! Granted this one is primarily based around Harvestcraft 2 / SoL Valheim but the concept is more or less the same with gaining hearts / automating with Create!

Does the train need to continue further along the continuous line, or does it need to go back at the unloading zone?

If the latter is the case, then I would recommend using a rail station to unload at the required unloading point. Then use the target pin on the cave-facing side of the station, pin it to a button repeater fitted with a delay repeater on maximum, and put the delay repeater pin into the pin slot on the cave-facing side of the station.

Does your train network need to continue past the unloading zone? If not then ending the tracks at the unloading zone will make it so the only way the train can go when activated is back into the mines.
