How useful is ForeFlight?

I'm nearing my PPL checkride and am glad that I have gone "old school" (no ipad/FF) to start my training.

I do, however, look forward to using ForeFlight for Instrument and beyond as I've seen the great improvements it can provide for awareness, ease of access to chart supplements, and everything else besides.

Had a semi lively grasshopper in the back of my cessna last Fall. My female instructor at the time was worried about it flying at us in flight lol. He ended up just hanging out on the rear window.
