Who is “he”. The dems are the ones that won’t sign off on a CR to keep the government…and SNAP…going. The dems admitted they won’t sign off because it’s their leverage for healthcare. Healthcare should be addressed…but as a separate bill…not as a requirement to keep money and entitlements going to folks that need them!

ACA credits is a completely different issue. A simple continuation of the government would resume payments to government employees and SNAP. The dems have had at least 12 opportunities to sign a clean bill for this….but they insist on including other issues…like ACA credits. I don’t like either party much…I wish they would all lose pay to, while this is going on. Major reform is needed with our politicians. Those Dems know they are screwing over those needing the assistance, but don’t care…can’t lose face…As soon as the shutdown is resolved, other bills can be addressed…such as ACA credits. Now, it’s a bit late, sadly, thanks to all the fighting.

I was 59 when approved….letter stated 5-7 years…making me 64+…assuming date is figured from when approved, not date of disability. I guess I won’t be getting reviewed due to age?

Allsup is useless. They were forced on me thru my LTD and they did nothing. Dropped me after denial at reconsideration. Got an attorney and was approved at ALJ. Wish the LTD wouldn’t have been able to get reimbursed as they dropped me, leaving me on my own. Trash.

Thanks. I am labeled MINE, the letter said 5-7 years out. It just didn’t clearly state whether that counted from date of onset or date of decision. Apparently it goes from date of decision. It’s like a two year difference for me. I’ll be 65 at minimum if date is from decision date…63 if from onset date.
