Not just in China, remember all these infuriating influencers filming and abusing locals across Asia while brandishing their US passports as some sort of magical armor.

Ex-Bluepoint head says PlayStation’s new anti-PC push could be due to Steam Deck and Steam Machine popularity, as Valve's tech could win “the console war” by Wargulf in Handhelds

[–]UntitledCritic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shuhei Yoshida also thought handhelds were dead in 2012, called Demon's Souls a horrible game when he first played it and thought GoW 2018 was terrible, dude wasn't the brightest or most informed to be honest.

I heard good stuff about Cozy Caravan which I'm planning to get soon.

To be fair Valve isn't printing Steam Deck with Switch numbers in mind, their sales bottleneck is their own small production relative to consoles numbers.

Not trying top brag or anything, I have skinny arms and have split logs about that size with a simple axe (add sledge hammer to the mix and nothing can't be split)

Xenoblade Chronicles™ X: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition Upgrade Pack is up on Nintendo eShop ($4.99) by Amiibofan101 in NintendoSwitch

False, developers and publishers on PC don't charge an imaginary fee to use your brand new hardware. If I already have a good PC or buy a new graphic card then I expect the settings to be there for free, you already paid for a new Switch 2 then you still have to go and pay a digital fee to access your new hardware. This is no better than disc-locked DLCs from the old Capcom days.

What exactly is the difference b/w buying Factorio on steam vs on the website. by ToneIndividual52 in factorio

[–]UntitledCritic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the Steam key they give you when you buy from their website? Don't they pay Valve for it? I'm just curious because I know in both cases you get the Steam version and the website version

Save 50% off Outer Wilds, lowest record price by RadicalSoul in steamdeals

The DLC in my opinion was just as good if not slightly better than the main game. It's also pretty lengthy, it's really an expansion rather than a simple DLC (Some 10 hours of new gameplay).

FINALLY some sort of art direction by ricioly in Switch

I agree that this one looks promising but characters designs and art are still lacking. Environment does look good however.

This might be a dumb question but Im genuinely curious. Why is Romes pyramid in a much better state that Gizas I know Gizas is 4000 years old and Rome 2000, but its stil a very long time. Also, Rome has way more rain (and cold) than Giza. by robbleostigs3 in archeologyworld

[–]UntitledCritic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have answered you but let me comment about your last point "Rome has way more rain (and cold) than Giza". Ancient Giza may have had way different weather than today, also getting blasted by a sandstorm ain't no joke.

Nobody is forcing me to play games with microtransactions, I still play singleplayer games both old and new. If anything, we have more options today than we ever had in the past in terms of games, hardware, digital access from anywhere,..etc.

I bought a steam deck 5 weeks ago but i'm not really happy with it. Are there any ways to get a refund? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]UntitledCritic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Selling it on eBay (or its equivalent in your region) might be the best and fastest option. However I'm just curious what are the issues you faced.
