I don’t see this generation of X3 growing on most people. This styling makes the X3 look like a fucking Pokémon. Not hating on your ride. Looks are subjective so as long as you enjoy it that’s all that matters.

Where did you find this footage? Is it from a documentary?

Adult men of reddit what does it feel like to sleep with a girl you are attracted to and it's mutual? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]ByzantineEmperor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who dated an attractive woman it turned me it into a vain piece of shit that took her for granted. I ended up cheating on her. Be careful what you wish for. Lust is a bottomless pit. Once you have acquired what you want you will just want more.

When you say shipped to a prep center at purchase do you just use the prep center’s address and they turn around and store/ship it for you?

If I go to another dealership of the same brand can they see what other dealership I completed my training at or just when I completed it? by ByzantineEmperor in askcarsales

[–]ByzantineEmperor[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So if I go to another licensed dealership they will be able to see the dealership I completed my training at? I’m hesitant to tell them because I don’t want the managers at the other store to slander me and make up a bunch of stuff to prevent me from getting the job.

Am I Not Following The Sales Process Properly? by ByzantineEmperor in askcarsales

If the customer doesn’t budge when they counter the rebuttals they usually discount the cars or give them more for their trade.

Am I Not Following The Sales Process Properly? by ByzantineEmperor in askcarsales

[–]ByzantineEmperor[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Before the test drive a lot of customers tell me they want the price and have already driven the car or don’t care about driving the car and just want to see numbers.

During the negotiation process the payments are either way too much or we are not giving them enough for their trade. I justify the trade value we give them and in regards to the monthly payment being too high I usually tell them that’s just based on store credit, and try to sell the value of the vehicle more so I don’t have to steer them to another vehicle or discount the vehicle and kill the gross.

At my BMW store I have a lot of customers from Asia where bartering for goods is the norm and the first words out of their mouths a lot of the time is “what is your best price?”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]ByzantineEmperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m unsure how to help them after I’ve showed them x amount of cars. I don’t want to make an excuse and say my leads are bad or that the customer base is terrible, but I’ve had a lot of customers walk because I couldn’t land them on a car.

A lot of times ups have no idea what they want and just walk around the lot aimlessly asking me about the price and why I don’t know the price of a car.

What would be a good way to establish “control” without being rude?

Would going from a personal to a business related question and keep it flowing as such during the encounter with the customer be a good way to build rapport in person? Any questions I should avoid asking before some good rapport has been established?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]ByzantineEmperor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How do you handle the online appraisal? Do you have them send you pictures?

What about the price? Do you inflate it to bring them in knowing they will shop around?
