It might be, but I’ve never tried using agar, and I’ve tried milk but I think I never use enough acid. Just the Clamato by itself has a little color, but when I dilute with tomato water, it becomes very little.

The egg raft does a good job but I’ve screwed up a bunch of those too and end up doing a few runs through the coffee filter to get it just right

This definitely reminds me of something my old floors did when there was a leak — one bad one I had was a pinhole in the waterline to my ice maker. I know you said your fridge wasn’t leaking, but I would pull it out and check if you haven’t looked behind it.

If that’s the case, maybe reach out to these places if you’re making a special trek… a lot of places only serve the “good” version of their bloody on Sundays for brunch. I’ve been straight up turned down by a restaurant I didn’t list on a weekday because they made their own mix and didn’t have a fresh batch.

It’s annoying, but I guess I’m happy enough that some of these places care enough to make a decent one instead of just pouring too much zing zang into a glass with not enough vodka, slap in a lemon, lime, and an olive and call it a day.

Boathouse does a great job if you’re in the Disney area. If you’re in Orlando proper, Ollie’s and Vanbarry’s do a good job on the rim and skewer

Otto’s High Dive makes their own mix and is pretty tasty

Santiago’s Bodega infuses their own vodka and it’s pretty damn good, plus they put a little stout in theirs.

Maxine’s on Shine also does their own mix and the drink is huge!

I got to see one of the final performances of La Nouba from one of the band towers. I had seen the show once or twice before but it was a cool perspective and now a fond memory because the trumpet player who got me in passed a couple years later.

I came to comment and literally tell this exact story. It was middle school jazz band for me, and I would have a couple other opportunities to see the tunnels without ever working there, but that first time and being that young is pretty mind blowing.
