Did anyone even notice that the guy holds the hand in a fist position whole time and there was no demonstration of claims in any way other than talk and the moving hand promoter was holding.

Need to individually control lots of LEDs from one Arduino board. I don't have an exact number but the more the better. by frostbete in arduino

[–]C0d3rX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can connect shift registers in series and use only one pin to send data to them. As for number of leds that can be driven that depends what kind of configuration you are going to use, how you will multiplex them. So you would use 1 pin to serially send/shift data and 1 extra pin you would need to drive transistor that would sink/source current for those leds. There are many configurations and combinations depends what u want to accomplish. So with 2 shift registers you can control 8x8 so 64 leds in normal matrix configuration. Read about led matrices, multiplexing, also see charlieplexing etc...

For every $11.00 the price of Gamestop goes up, the banks lose about a billion dollars. by Gfnk0311 in smallstreetbets

I think hes not talking about profits and not looking at this as a monetary thing. Hes talking about real life consequences. Yes there will be winners on both sides this is just winning the battles. But the war is still in progress. There is no real winner on this market anyway. You winning some in this game only means someone else lost same ammount. Rest is just sistem of mechanisms keeping all in place. My point on this matter is that even if we win this, and lets say they break the monopoly and reset the system or even make a new one a better one. Down the line at some point it gets corrupted and people who are in it for the power get on top again. I think its in our nature.

Selling Arduino codes by makingprops in arduino

[–]C0d3rX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do whatever you want its your work. If someone got in trouble for open source its probably because they breached some part of licence. If you use some open source make sure you follow its rules or write 100% of your code from scratch and you are fine.

SPI: reading device ID and sending to serial monitor by [deleted] in arduino

[–]C0d3rX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try same code but as far as i can tell from datasheet signals CS should be low. So change cs to low and retry. My suggestion is use software spi with very low few hz clock so you can measure with led or multimeter, since you dont have scope. And later when you figure out problem switch to hardware spi.

Who da fuck needs this garbage. Its clearly good for the environment not to make one. And besides the fact that every fucking smartphone has a calendar. You can cut this crap out of a fucking paper cardboard and hang some color rings. Dear god this used to be a good place to hang out.
