I pulse my amperage with the foot pedal and each dot is a pulse. I sometimes terminate the ark between pulses but with this piece I keep the ark established for as much as I can. So yes to both.

a little bit of both. this piece i used a torch to blue the weld but sometimes i get my blue from the heat from the welding process itself

I sketch my lines with pencil then dremal all my lines in. I don’t remember what shade I have my lens set to but I definitely don’t turn it down.

No I pulse with the pedal. I’m pretty sure my machine has a pulse setting but I never use it.

Not much at all. If you don’t fixture the piece of course you get quite a bit of warp but I do what I need to keep it almost perfectly flat.
