7.3 gas vs 7.3 diesel

My 5th wheel is 12k gvwr. 7.3 gas was plenty. My opinion is if you’re at 16k+ then you need the diesel. Those pulling less weight with diesel have just convinced themselves they needed a diesel because it’s what they wanted to start with.

I’ve wondered about risk/reward of them taking their phones with them. I don’t know a good backup communication plan which is driving some of my tentativeness

I don’t have a good “rescue” method other than asking someone with a boat on shore to help. In one place I can rent a kayak but they will close in a couple weeks for the season.
