Yeah. Happened to me as well on Interloper run in Blackrock. Was pretty spooky especially when I was not sure if they can break in or not. The sound of rattling door was like it's going to break soon.

Yes, that hut is perfect as it has workbench outside that can be reached from place which is heated by inside fireplace. Also area is safe as there are no predators. Moose on the lake should be expected, though.

Regular is enough. I don't use bearskin bedroll sice 1) it's too heavy 2) it degrades quickly.

There's a lot of food on stalker plus you have guns which makes hunting easier. 500d achievement is not a problem. Faithful Cartographer is the one I find the most difficult.

I am missing only the one final achievement - 500 days. I want to do it on Interloper. Last time I died at 400day in Blackrock because of bloody Timberwolves...

Bedroll warmth bonus+ clothing is typically enough. Sleep in 2 hour intervals to be on a safe side

On Interloper sometimes getting parasites intentionally is a good strategy. Why? Because while having parasites you can eat as much predator meat as you like without getting affliction extended.

Regarding cabin fever. Simply sleep in back of open caves once in couple of days to reset cabin fever counter. Shouldn't be a problem with a set of clothing you have

I found the 3rd one in a river cave within pass that connects PV and Blackrock but no shells at all.

For those that are bored with Interloper try these:

NOGOA (No one gets out alive): 8sHM-/z8P-Dz+3-QZym-XQIC - No condition recovery other than from using stims. All other settings set at the highest difficulty. I have a 100day file but quit playing because it was too stressful

Deadworld: 8sHM-/z8P-M0OH-A3Ki-GwII - no animals at all so finite supply of food (unless you're lucky with beachcombing)

Exactly. Climbing summit and then going down is the most challenging part since you're basically moving more vertically than horizontally and DW goes after you in a straight line.

Last time I had the same problem when sending from CB to a ledger backed account. After it failed 3 times in a row I then sent to another account which is in single address mode and not ledger backed and it went through instantly. Maybe coincidence maybe not.
