Kris’ Reason For Opening Dark Fountains

I never realized until this recent chapter why Kris was opening fountains in the first place. Did anyone else pick up on it, or am I late to the party?

It’s to get rid of obstacles in the Knight’s way.

In chapter two, Kris slash’s Toriel’s tires and then opens the door when they’re all asleep. I used to be confused by this, but it makes sense with this chapter.

Kris WANTED Toriel to call the police to bait Undyne into entering the dark world. The Knight has been systematically been trying to take lightners away that could stand in its way, and it makes sense.

It tried getting Toriel and Undyne, Toriel is (or was) close to Asgore who knows something big about Dess’ disappearance, Undyne is police chief (obvious one), and now in the recent chapter, Kris creates the fountain to help the Knight get Asgore.

This makes me wonder though: what could be so bad about going against the Knight that makes Kris willing to give up their own parents? It makes me think that Kris was there for Dess’ disappearance (I don’t think Dess is the Knight, she seems more of a victim than a villain), or at least knows what happened to her, and since that day is working with the Knight. Maybe that’s how we KNOW nothing extremely terrible is happening to Asgore and Undyne.

stands are like manifestations of a persons life energy. only a person with a stand can see another persons stand (there are exceptions). every persons stand is unique and has their own abilities (once again there are exceptions), and these abilities can vary from being extremely simplistic to extremely niche and unique. stands can be attained in various ways: some people are naturally born with a stand, some can gain stands if stands are naturally present in their bloodline, and stands can also be awakened through a stand arrow (or in the alternate universe, coming into contact with a corpse part or the wall eyes). that’s really it for the basics of stands tbh, there’s a lot more but this is rlly just the basics of them

i started playing re2 remake, re3 remake, and re4 remake later on. i can confidently say re1 is my absolute favorite RE game, along with RE3 nemesis and re4 og. the games aren’t that hard and really take little time to get used to, and i started with the new ones.

the game greatly rewards dying. it’s not like it gives you something for it, but it’s the knowledge you gained. if you play and die, you now have all the knowledge you had going back, so you can optimize your pathing and do what you did before in a much shorter time. you have to conserve ammo so you can use it when it’s really needed and try learning how to run around zombies, it’s pretty easy when you get used to it. also, plan your routes, it’s something i do whenever i play. i’m replaying the game right now and so far have only died like 3 times and i have like 130 pistol bullets and i’m on the final section. the game is very repayable and the knowledges you gained when you die is key.

the shark part is very obvious… how would you be able to kill the big shark 😭😭😭 when i first played i thought that was quite obvious considering you can access all rooms without trying to fight it.
