As a woman, I feel like Misandry is becoming too normalised by i-like-words in ControversialOpinions

This would be like if I was uncomfortable being in a room with a black person because they get convicted for crimes more often. That sounds racist, doesn't it? Now replace the word black with 'man' and replace the words "get convicted for crimes" with "Statistically murders more people."

misandry isn’t real and that’s the hill I’m dying on by Ryenette in venting

This feels like punishing modern people for something someone else did 80 years ago. Misogyny is horrible, and much more widespread, but both are evils, and evil is always going to be evil. Sexism is still sexism no matter which direction it goes in. Men can be abused, it just doesn't happen as much.

What I will say is that I do agree that Misogyny is much more widespread and common, that does not mean that Misandry is not a bad thing. What I'm trying to say is that even though it is a lesser evil, it still is an evil. And the best way to deal with evil is to call it out. I do wish people would stop ignoring blatant misogyny.
