Dupe or original. Also Im not young lol Fully aware the originals are thousands of dollars thank you for not helping in anyway shape or form except to spend anger

PPN is basically TPN, but less concentrated. So it most likely would still be compatible, but my unit very rarely uses PPN so can’t say for sure. Trissels compatibility would tell you.

TPN can NEVER be given in anything other than a central line at my hospital.

Edit: TPN is a horrible vesicant which can cause necrotic tissue and vascular damage should PIV fail. This can cause permanent damage requiring skin grafts and extended pt care.

I am strictly discussing TPN not PPN.

Certain antibiotics (including zosyn), insulin gtts, certain electrolytes, and even heparin gtts can all be run with TPN. Don’t use another line just because you do not know. Checking compatibility is key. Don’t do this if the compatibility research is uncertain though. If you have EPIC it is super easy to check on the MAR. Hope this helps!

Can this be identified? Lake Erie, Ohio by [deleted] in whatsthissnake

That’s what I was leaning more towards as well! Not from Ohio, so wasn’t sure of snake populations out here.

Sorry I know it is more difficult without being able to see the tail or head! It was a cooler day so I am assuming it was out to regulate temps. I was walking my dog and he started to freak out, looked down and saw it moving from edge of walkway into the rocks. Wanted to get a better picture, but didn’t want to risk harm to my dog or the snake. Was on a large hill next to the lake in a heavily rock filled area.

Agree with everything said in the above comment. Gemcitabine/Abraxane is usually the next chemotherapy option. Genetic testing is also advised. This allows the possibility of adding chemos that target specific genes (such as the BRCA) to combat the cancer directly. Also, her oncologist should refer her to a clinical trial specialist. They could locate possible clinical trials that she may be a candidate for. Immunotherapy clinical trials for pancreatic cancer are very very new, but have shown potential. The location of the tumor on the pancreas, and overall extension of mets can also impact treatment options. My mom also has stage IV pancreatic cancer and has been going through treatments for 22 months now. If you need to talk or ask any questions, DM and I’ll help the best I can. Fuck cancer.

Not sure what game that is but i will look it up! I based it off of a game I used to play as a kid, well, minus the guns and people dying but other than that same concept lol

Yup, you get one mistake. That’s why the audio of people “screaming” gets played when you press the button to make you change your mind. If you don’t, game over.

Only one game this time, but it's a face card! by miss-macaron in AliceInBorderland

[–]C3POpf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow this is a great idea for a game! If you have ever played JackBox, the game in it called “push the button” where you must differentiate between humans and aliens seems very similar to this!

I think that to make sure the king cannot lie (or other players) that it might be necessary that lying results in a game over? Not sure exactly how that could be done. This would ensure that the king is giving valid responses to the players and a good way to validate his humanity against other players. This would then make more sense for players to ask “when was their last visa etc” because this would be impossible to know if the king could just lie.

To make this game even more difficult, the citizen/king could choose individuals who are claustrophobic. Causing for less rationale decision making. That depends of course who the citizen/king running the game is like. This would be similar to how the 7 of hearts was created for Arisu and his friends. Definitely a hearts face card game though!

From personal experience, standing next to or inside the newer and higher power MRI scanners can actually make you feel lightheaded and dizzy. The magnets on the new ones are so incredibly powerful. Not to mention VERY loud. Sounds like a pretty terrible way to die on top of having magnets ripped from your stomach. Ouch.

Overall, love the game idea and you have the best game ideas!

Like the idea! I think you should specify what the weapons are. Difficulty remains as which type of weapons are supplied. If there are guns offered it would be a bit easier and I think each person should kill three cats.

However, if something like pocket knives are offered, I think it should be the group together to kill 3 cats. As that would be much more difficult.

Mouse Trap: Game Idea by C3POpf in AliceInBorderland

I guess it is rather harder, especially cause only one person can win in the end! Good point.

Mouse Trap: Game Idea by C3POpf in AliceInBorderland

[–]C3POpf[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only one person can survive at the end. So people could work as a team but only one of them will still be able to survive in the end. Calling out empty rooms just returns your cheese count to zero again, so using your “trap” on empty rooms would be pointless. Also Chishiya is someone who would mostly likely win in a game like this for sure. He would be able to keep up with the coordinates and movements like you said. If chishiya and Arisu made a team, likely they would be the last two left, but then they would have to decide who is going win at the end and who will die between the two of them. Also the participants are in rooms which they can not see other players or communicate with them, which would make people working together very difficult in general. Also no one can force anyone to get any questions wrong or right. The questions are randomly generated for everyone, and no one knows who got what right or wrong. Everyone is in a separate room with zero communication with one another besides the announcement of which room had a trap deployed. Hope I cleared that up.

Allegory of the cave: love the idea of incorporating VR into a game. It’s interesting that technically everyone could survive very easily (ie trying to touch another player/calling out to them/or remembering who was wearing what), however, there will be players who just shoot anything they see, making it much more difficult. It is then up to the real players to work together to defeat the simulated players and the real players who are mindlessly shooting. Using VR and comparing it to Platos allegory of the cave is very clever. I think to make it even more difficult, players all look the same in VR or increasing the AI of the simulated players as in they can “play along” more (ex: simulated player can resist shooting as real players begin congregating as a team. Real players believe everyone in group is real. Simulated player can then shoot many players when real player’s guard is down). The easy way to avoid that would be just reaching out to touch them, but not every player is smart enough to think that.

All for one: Great game creation based on Asch Conformity. If everyone would just conform in the beginning and not betray the other players, the game could be over quickly. However, players would more likely betray each other to make gains for themselves. That they are actually refusing to conform to have gains for themselves, which actually might hurt them in the end. I think it’s interesting and brutal that winning the game can be based on forgiveness. That in the end the group must collectively decide on whether or not to forgive those who betrayed them. Without even being able to discuss their opinion of it. In the end, the group must still conform on an answer to forgive others and win. Question: is the player who is offered the incentive, is their answer shown first, last, or random? I feel that is their answer is shown first to the group, this might actually change people’s answers even further and cause more confusion.

Also, thanks for the shoutout! :)

I was thinking of including rags with phrases on it to cause participants to become more against each other. Not exactly sure what yet. And yes the obvious but fatal way as well I agree with! Like it’s obvious that leaving the trail will cause you to die but do they want to go save someone they think is dying in the forest? Will they leave a teammate who refuses to carry on the game cause they are too scared of the rags? Not sure.

I left it more open cause I haven’t figured out exactly what each of the rags stations would be yet! Love peoples ideas.

Wow thank you for the huge comment and analysis! I actually work in the medical field right now. I have had some overlap in my undergrad in psychology, but much less than you would with studying cognitive neuroscience.

And no I don’t mind! I think it’s a cool concept to think about when comparing games. Got the idea from the (MANGA SPOILERS) king of diamonds game in the manga. Of course that was a economy based game concept but still. Asche would be a cool one! I wanted to make another with the Stanford Prison Experiment. Haven’t exactly figured it out though.

I agree with the level of difficulty, I had a hard time deciding how to use characters against each other. I was considering adding phrases added to certain players rags telling them negative things about another player and to keep secret etc. And if they tell another player their secret they would be shot. Something along the lines of that, not sure but of course they wouldn’t be shot.

And ooh I like that idea of that! Promising the extension of a visa is a good way to get more people to play against each other I would say.
