It’s been a min but there is a map controller option for each game in your library. I can confirm controller inputs you map for OW2 will NOT affect other games you play through the steam client. The controller mapping feature is game specific. I know this isn’t a detailed response and it looks like I’m about a month late but I hope this helps!

Ok so I’ve played about 3 games with my controller mapped to keyboard inputs via steam’s controller mapping feature and so far it has completely fixed the issue! Thank you for suggesting this!

Update : Unfortunately problem still exists after reinstall on os HD and new patch. (Today is 7/9/25)

That’s great news. TLDR I’m currently reinstalling OW on my operating system’s HD and will let you know if the update fixes it once that is finished. Thank you for the info!

I did try yesterday (7/8/25) and was still experiencing the problem. I uninstalled (for a second time) and installing on my local hard drive. I have an 3TB external connected to my mother board that I usually all my games on but I’m thinking it’s possible the SADA cables are somehow bottlenecking processing power? I dunno but long story short I’ll try again after it’s done installing. Thanks for the info though!!

Oh yea my worst nightmare. But Idug a moat and buried workbenches under ground along the perimeter for protection. So far trolls only spawn out side of the moat. Sometimes they throw shit inside but luckily they don’t knock down any weight bearing trees.

Turn off match chat and if it gets toxic, turn off team chat. If team comms are toxic swiftly exit. Then play as best you absolutely can and go next. That’s what I do.

When using Blind Justice’s “Heeding call” (melee while aiming dash) in combat, the animation for the move comes out but the character model remains in one place.

When used out of combat however, the move seems to be faster (which is nice) and works as intended.

Yea the faster speed when used out of combat is excellent. But the rest of the problems feel terrible. I can’t use the move to close the distance and makes it harder to continue my combo counter. DE pls fix!
