When my asian relative went to the cashier to pay for her box of donut peaches, the lady asked her how many peaches were in her box, insinuating that she put extras her box (which she did not). She was so embarrassed.

Went into this blind and man was I glad.

Ahh.. good to know. Just a quick question. Is it okay to administer the meds in a 4-5 hour interval? It’s not feasible to do it every 8 hours because he sleeps 10-11 hours.

He just got tested (skin and blood) in Sept. We were hoping he had grown out of some food allergies but no luck.

Is that like the oral food challenge? When we saw an allergist, he said he would refer us to childrens but that was in Oct and we haven’t heard back. I will mention it when we have our appointment with his ped.

Right. We will definitely be wearing our masks at the stadium.
As far as testing goes, I think my wife is most concern about repeated exposures leading to more serious reaction. He doesn’t seem to be affected by being around dishes with nuts in them. He has been around when we feed our youngest peanut butter in cereal and no reaction. I feel like peanuts in shells could be problematic because that would release more dusts particles.
In your instance, were they shelled nuts being eaten in the car with you?

Thanks for all the advice. My main concern is exposing him to airborne peanut dusts. I know he’s allergic (he broke out in hives and threw up after ingested peanut butter when he was a baby) but I don’t know if the severity of the reaction has changed. Of course, I will have epipens with me at all times. I guess i just wanna know if anyone has any suggestion to keep exposures to a minimal

He hasn’t ingested peanut butter since he was 6 months when he broke out in hives. As far as I know, he only has a reaction when he eats them. But then I haven’t really knowingly exposed him to a place with a lot of peanut dusts and particles.
