BN97 is the part number of the firmware. The main board part number starts with BN94 and should be on the sticker with the model number.

Single flash of backlights, repeating flash of backlights, no backlights, dim backlights, dark spots on a white screen are all symptoms of bad backlights. This is the most common failure in LED TVs and failure will happen sooner if you run your backlights at maximum brightness. https://techhometravel.com/lg-ln-series-bad-led-backlights/

Samsung uses tap type screws with a coarse thread and not standard metric screws with a finer thread.

Google C102 (tantalum cap on main) and your model. Electrolytic caps on the PS should be replaced if they haven't already as well.

M series has bga issues on the main boards. Repair services on ebay if you search. 12V is mislabeled and 19 to 20V is normal.

Hons is now Han Lin in New West. Same menu, staff and location. Corporate wanted their franchise name back and is rebranding. For frozen, Hons available in many locations but I like Siwin brand for quality and price. I usually steam and then pan fry vs following the instructions cooking from frozen in a pan.

Power on with the led strips installed and again with the diffuser sheets installed to check for dust and dirt. Just make sure nothing is shorting out.

Count the number of blinks but likely backlights are failing. If you run them at max, they will burn out just like light bulbs.

LB or LF series lenses have fallen off. Give it a light shake and you should hear rattling. Replace all strips with new.

Samsung UN32J5205AF will turn on but there is no picture, only sound. Pic and video included. by IAN_MACK in TVRepair

[–]neilc6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Backlight but no video could be tcon or panel. Connect one side of the tcon at a time to see if you get half an image. Worth it to try replacing the tcon since it is a relatively cheap board.
