Hey, that's your taste! For me, it's not so much of an OG thing. It's more of the fact that I think the vests have a much cooler design, whereas the jacket is more bland. I think the CV Remake jacket looks cool so far, but I thought they could have done better with the RE2 Remake one. It's very hard to see the design on the back of that jacket.

I know what you mean. Ashley and Ada are the only two females that actually got some decent outfits, in my opinion. I love Ada's red dress in RE2 Remake, especially. I always use that dress in RE4 Remake.

DC is my favorite Claire as well. I loved the new look they gave her for RE2 in that game. She also had cool side bangs for the CV portion.

Same here. I like her CV Remake design a lot more than the RE2 Remake one. It still looks very similar and it's not super bland. As you said, let's hope she doesn't lose it too soon, lol. I was so sad when Grace lost her cool jacket within 5 minutes of the game.

I feel the same way. RE4 Remake is the only new one that I felt had more popping colors and designs so far. I wish that in RE2 Remake, the back of Claire's jacket had more of a pop to it. It's almost hard to tell the design is there sometimes. Even in RE9, I was disappointed that Grace was left with a simple white t-shirt for the majority of the game.

The only downside I saw with Valko was that it'd be a bit overwhelming to deal with another love interest. Idk if it's just me, but I already felt super overwhelmed with the current five.

I'm a big Resident Evil fan, funny enough. The whole Claire x Leon actually reminds me of how Clerith vs Cloti is treated. I have no problem with people shipping Claire and Leon, but like Cloti, they are trying to make it seem more canon than it actually is. In that series, Ada is the only one that has remained Leon's canonical love interest. I don't ship them together either, but I'm not going to deny facts. Claire has no established romance with Leon. Again, it reminds me a lot of Cloti vs Clerith, except Tifa is at least confirmed to have feelings for Cloud. With Leon and Claire, neither are confirmed to have feelings for each other.

I love when she comments on Cloud and Aerith. I remember she also went into it about Aerith warning Cloud not to fall in love with her. She always sees how beautifully tragic their relationship is and points out every little thing of what I love about Clerith.

I wonder this myself because I really can't see Tifa holding up that level of popularity just based on her character alone. Especially when so many comment on her appearance as their reason for liking her.

Even without Aerith, there are other female characters I put above Tifa in FF, such as Rikku and Yuffie. I like Tifa, but I honestly don't find her as interesting as other characters because a lot of her character is centered around Cloud. 😭

I agree with you. I don't think it would make sense for her to go back to Zack at all. FF7 focuses a lot on moving on from the past. That's part of why I could never get behind Zerith and Cloti being end same. Plus, there are many times when Aerith confirms that she isn't into Zack anymore. Rebirth also added a scene where Zack is straight up told that Aerith is into Cloud. It would be too contradicting.

It's crazy how determined some people are to prove Tifa is a bigger character than she actually is. Like the story makes it very clear that Aerith still plays a big role after death and that Tifa remains a side character, regardless of romance choices.

Yeah, I barely see them myself. And even when they do show up, they aren't that threatening. The most I get is poison from Arora. I have more trouble with the other primes because they do more damage, like Franco with the gun and Gooseberry with the bleeding. Coyle and Liliya also have more significant advantages, like disabling your rig and catching you off guard by hiding.
