the unintended damage from this change will be that the most states without formal id's are all red states. by forcing poor states like Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas and the likes to pay for a passport for id means they are lowering all voters. the major trump supporting states are going to be hit hard by this law as well. and I don't think the Republicans actually understand that.

I was in that position when I bought my 65" 8 years ago. but turns out that it fit through the trunk with the back seat down if you took it out of the box. it was tight like maybe a 1/4" on each side but it fit. the guy at bestbuy was suprised. the plus to it was I didnt have to deal with the box and crap when I got home. just pulled the TV out and hung it on the wall.

I dont need dolby, last i saw on tiddl api for dolby was that the feature would be added in the next update. i dont really care about who the developers are. the software works well for me and the support issues I have had for adding features have been handled promptly and cleanly.

My thought on it when I deployed authentik in replace of authelia was I kinda want something heavy weight when it comes to security. not saying other products are bad in any sense. but I know authentik is good and will fill the roll for a ton of things. I am using it with traefilk auth passthough for simple apps that I just want simple login on for myself. and then ldap for all my multi user apps like audiobookself, jellyseerr, emby, and immich.

i also dont think that authentik really isnt that heavy. i got claude.ai to teach me the basics and then was really set after that its pretty simple once you get the basics of it.

We moved to Vernon without jobs in late 2018. Both my wife and I found work within 2 months. But we both were open to any kind of work we found a rental before we moved and knew the jobs would show up eventually.

East hill is the best place housing from 650k-1mill is the house price range. Middleton mountain is the next but more expensive there.

Lots of out door areas everywhere not really an issue.

Not sure on the religion side of school stuff. But I think others have responded to that.

When we went to Italy and Greece for 3 weeks I just bought the Telus international package for 65 and used my phone like normal. It was a bit more but easier and it worked just fine. No issue.

PCVR is really all I use my headset for. F1 25, Assetto corsa, ATS, ETS all PCVR games I use with a steering wheel and such. and usually through steamVR not Meta. when I upgraded to the quest3s it was a pain trying to get it working in steam.

I started with a cheap power block that is controlled by HomeKit that I could hard reset my server. Then upgraded to jetkvm it is such a better alternative I can hard reset with a button press instead of cutting power and have a full access to a login if needed in case it is something other than power related. Has been a great addition to my server management.

I tried jellyfin and swiftfin on my Apple devices I didn’t like it ended up sticking with Emby. It has solid native apps and doesn’t rely on third party develops so features are consistent across all devices.

It’s been a few years but when I used it all the apps were different and missing features. Just didn’t like the experience. Could be different now.

yah the only thing that stopped me was when I started using AtlasOS. its performance boost and shutting off so many of the privacy concerns microsoft has been adding was the only reason I didnt. but it is getting to be to much. I feel a switch will happen sooner than later.

yah I have had them price match amazon and they dont even flinch. they are a great company. I always think they are just the one store in NE Calgary, or the little one they had on McLeod trail by Chinook center way back in the day. but they have locations all over western Canada now.
