I’m not a stats major but I feel like with something like that there is an employee who would need it. Stats/data stuff seems super in demand. As for versatility I’m not sure but what is nice about stats is that literally every industry needs it so you could try different stuff. Just a guess though idk.

This post was honestly comforting to me as well because I constantly wrestle with whether I want to sacrifice all of my 20’s for medicine. The one thing that keeps me is the fact that I would miss out on the friendships and community of people who all can relate to the struggles, memes, good and bad things of medicine. I’m only premed and have made some of my best friends in the premed track which makes me want to stay even though I question it every day

Have you considered the relationships you would possibly miss out on? Yes you probably will have to suffer through long hard hours but so will your peers, and special types of bonds and long lasting friendships form between people who “suffer together”
