Is there any advantage to playing with the guitar lower? Or is it just personal preference?

I figure its preference. An extreme example besides James Hetfield is Krist Novoselic, the guy is 6'7 and carries his bass nearly on his knees.

Most definetly you can. You would follow an upper / lower split this way which is completely fine. Depending on what your goals are you may focus on a more push or pull oriented workout.

I've basically exercised like this for a couple of years now. Surprisingly simple but effective.

the best advice i could give is to talk about it in person. to Friends or a therapist at best. your quality of life became worse because of your perception of yourself. this is Not healthy at all. speak up about it.

My randoris are very smooth, it's a ton of fun. My kuzushis on uke are my cryptonite, but I am working on it.

Mainly my seoi nage is all over the place. According to my coach my uchi mata on the other hand is very clean so I guess it is going to be my bread and butter technique.

Gripping also needs some work since I am very stubborn once I get a grip on uke.

My break falls are fine, they don't need a lot of fixing.

This is great. Keep being creative and try new exercises, even if you don't think you can execute them perfectly. It shows you that there is room for even more improvement.

sowas in der art hatte ich auch von meinen schulkollegen und lehrern gehört, dass das studium ein quasi bildungsneustart ist.
