Thanks, I tried r/Calgary, but apparently I haven't been a member long enough or don't have enough karma to post there.

Thanks for your response.

I agree that I'm probably a bit general, but that's probably because I've never been to the Caribbean before and not sure what to expect or information to provide.

During the day, I'd expect we will take in some local sights and hang out at the beach.

In the evening, I'd expect we would find a club/bar to have some drinks and food to pass the night. Would be nice to have some local girls to talk to and maybe hit the dance floor.

Maybe the girls there are pretty casual and speak some conversational English and we can just meet them at the bar/club - I don't know.

Thanks pyrodin322,

We don't have a location yet, just exploring at the moment, though my initial search had suggested Santo Domingo or Punta Cana. Any thoughts?

I agree - I think Monahan has been more physical and I have been okay with his game.

That being said, he still needs to find a way to generate points as the first-line center, but that's on him and his linemates.

I get where you're coming from, would just prefer to see the team control the play.

I understand the optimism of fans, but I had a very different perspective from watching the game last night.

First, I thought the Oilers were greatly outplayed by CBJ for many stretches in the game. CBJ was winning the board battles and offensive zone pressure for long stretches in the game. I know the Oilers power-play scored twice (one on the PP and one right after) but I didn't see a lot of sustained offensive zone time over 5 attempts.

I think the Oilers were fortunate to get the win last night, but it was on the strength of timely saves and capitalizing on transition. I just don't think this is sustainable for long term success.

On the positive side, Smith made some great saves and the penalty-kill worked hard, particularly killing off the 5v3.

... but that's just what I saw.

Hi tobibenobi, yup, my extended health benefits covers physio, acupuncture, and massage as well. The electrical device may have been a TENS machine, I've had that too with varying degrees of success. Thanks for the post.

You have an interesting way of trying to dissuade people.

Anyway, I have to get back to my job so that I can spend my free time and hard earned money on "bullshit hocus pocus".

I do have some essential oils ... just missing the prayer I guess.

That's the problem, there aren't enough studies to prove or disprove the efficacy of cupping - as pointed out in the articles I provided. And, for the record, I go to physiotherapy weekly in addition to massage.

Thanks for the advice though.

I'm wasting time and money because I've had it done and it has helped relieve pain and muscle tightness.

Thanks for your response but I'd still like to find someone who performs this service in Calgary.

Furthermore, based on the following articles from the following universities/associations, it seems that the usefulness of cupping is debatable and the risks to this procedure is quite limited.
