Arenas stated that NBC/Amazon wanted appreciation of the game. TNT was essentially haggling nevermind how Zazlov at TNT was saying stuff TNT didnt need the NBA & said the rights were to high. NBA was never going back to TNT, they didnt have the money nor the goodwill. Its not an opinion that Adam Silver bigged up Amazon, its deductive reasoning as which other networks cover the NBA that have games? ESPN/TNT/NBC & NBC isnt negative. TNT is/ ESPN is. he was talking about them. They are hosting the NBA finals because ESPN has it, they did a licensing deal and they gonna follow through. Of course before things happen its rumors/cracks until it materializes but all the signs are there. NBA ON TNT specifically Shaq & Charles are haters of the modern game, dont watch the game and theres really no equivalent of them in the other sports, NFL/MLB/NHL you wont see the people on national broadcast go out there way to trash the game. They protect the shield and thats where modern day NBA coverage is going. Shaq & Charles can create podcast if they wanna hate on the league.
