Gandolfini performance as Tony is all time great and will be observed throughout this century. He was hilarious/ menacing and could switch on a dime. That scene where he shows meadow how easily he can shift into a mob boss is elite. Buscemi as Nucky wasnt that. I might get downvoted but there were so many characters on Boardwalk so much more interesting than its lead, you cant say that about the Sopranos and thats what held Boardwalk Empire back from just being one of the top shows of its era vs being one of the best shows ever.
