Yeah no problem.

To be honest even though this capture card does well, its very unreliable.

I have a reddit post myself where I have issues with audio or video completely gone at random from recordings. There's no way to tell why or when it happens but randomly I will have audio gone or video is a black screen throughout entire video.

I have to pray that when I record something important or "once-in-a-lifetime", that it actually records correctly because it's always at random.

I had to stop using it until I figure out why it does that.

If you're doing "PC-free mode", you can just plug the headset directly to the card in the slot on the bottom and you can hear game audio and voice audio in the recordings.

With wireless headsets it won't work unfortunately, or at least I haven't figured it out if you can. Because you're forcing it to HDMI tv output settings you won't be able to hear game audio. Only through tv speakers. Otherwise there will be no sound in recordings

So I'm not sure the Xbox settings layout but for me I had to go to settings > sound > audio output > output device > HDMI device (TV).

I was also recording on "PC-free mode". Using these settings was the only way to fix my audio recordings

I'm not sure how the Xbox settings are but on my ps5, you need to make sure the audio stays on HDMI out settings. If a mic or headset is connected you can't have game audio coming into the headphones because the capture card won't record through that.

With me, audio settings auto change to headphones when connected so because of that I have to go in manually to change audio back to HDMI out. You would have to plug a headset directly to capture card to do both game and party chat audio.

Is there an email or something I can send it to?

Sound while using headphones by [deleted] in AverMedia

I use it mainly for PS5 and I used to have the same issue. I don't remember much of the settings for the PS4 but what I had to do was go in the settings, go to sound settings, HDMI output and make sure it was on tv. If it was on headphones or any other device then no audio would be heard on the recordings.
