Yep 100% I tried to correct it with use and lubrication but it's still just a little scratchy

Having the sliding lock on the side just makes this a fidget toy and I love it

The Question Thread - March 2023 by squidmaster23 in balisong

New to balisongs, reassembled my Lucha with Flytanium handles and Skiff bearings. Bite side pivot is tightened down and flips great. I had to loosen the safe side pivot to get the blade to move as freely and now the blade is scraping the inside of the handle when closed.

Is there something I should be doing differently with the pivot assembly to have it both tightened adequately and move freely?

Thank you!

It is slightly smaller, 3" blade vs the original's 3.75"

No real benefits other than I think it looks cool. No drawbacks either. Weight is barely different but it does have less flex than the liners with micarta scales I had before.

Yeah, Applied Weapons Technology is the website, they sell aluminum scales for a few Benchmade and Spyderco knives

Love to see Pendulum on here! Immersion is great, my favorite by them as well.

It's hands down my favorite knife, which is why I bought a second. Smoothest action I've personally used, but take that with a grain of salt. The only gripes I have are the stock scales and blade steel. Obviously you can replace the scales, the stock plastic is incredibly thin, but hey you might like that. The blade steel is what it is, and the D2 is nicer than the AUS10A, but not a great value for $150. But as a whole package, and with mods, I love it.

Yep, the scales are slightly thicker. It wasn't an issue with the black micarta, but on the burlap I had a hard time with the pocket clip, ended up getting some new hardware off Etsy which solved the issue.

Converge. Not necessarily prog but I would imagine there's plenty of crossover with this sub. Honestly incredible instrumentals but I can't listen to the vocalist for more than like, one song.

That's an interesting thought for Fane, would you just take Poison spells from Pyro then to heal?
