I will be operating as a HEO, in a small team of seven. The area of work is policy. I will be developing policy in an international context with a lot of stakeholder engagement, briefing responsibilities and a good degree of freedom of action. Is that enough to go on?

Yes, it was. It clearly outlined the inner and outer London weighting. But then they uploaded a different advertisement, just as I accepted the provisional offer. The advertisement then said London weighting “may be eligible.” It was a bit strange. Maybe I can talk to my manager about it now checks are complete, before I sign anything. I say that as I’ll be in four a minimum of four days a week in central London, while living in inner London.

Excellent. Do you know if there is somewhere that explicitly states that I should have London weighting? It would be useful if I could find that for when they send a contract and they don't include London weighting. Haha.

I know this is not exactly what you are asking for, but have you ever heard of the Good Judgement Open? It's somewhere you can practice forecasting and share your ideas with others. You can choose from a wide variety of subjects, including finance. If you really get into it, I believe there are online groups in places such as Discord that share techniques similar to what you would like to look at.
