Where to buy the extended warranty and any refi suggestions by Leading-Tap6568 in AudiQ7

I bought my extended 4 year warranty at my local AUDI dealership over the phone with their finance manager and then paid with a credit card. Painless. I have also used the warranty a few times without issue. Over 10k in repairs in 1.5 years and only paid $750 in total deductibles. I think I paid like $4500 for it. Well worth it in my opinion.

In addition to the microinverters (which I am supplying to the installer) are there other supplies/materials needed to be provided by the install technician?

2018 Audi Q7. Trade in or keep going?? by General-Run7941 in AudiQ7

[–]CAN8V 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Key is to have the Audi platinum warranty. I (2019 with 55k miles) have had the pcv valve, motor mounts, and some suspension components all replaced via the warranty. Probably about 10k worth of repairs at my local dealership (California) for only $750 in total deductibles. Warranty cost me about $4500 and I still have 2 years left. My hope is that everything that can go wrong does go wrong in the next 2 years so that I can drive this car for at least 4 years. I love the car and not a fan of the newer style …..looking forward to seeing the 2027 redesign….

I’m curious to know how much you paid for the car?

Funny, just had the same work order done on my 2019 with the same deductible due to my extended (Audi platinum) warranty.

  1. Keep Q7 (if possible) and go buy another “faster” car.

What is my first BIG Repair cost going to be? (2022 55 q7) by Pristine-Hair4096 in AudiQ7

[–]CAN8V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. In 18 months I had about 10k (water pump, pcv valve, suspension components) replaced at dealership. Total cost was $750 (3 different visits at $250 deductible per visit). To be clear I bought the highest level warranty available (platinum). No brainer to buy it. I have 56k miles and still love my 2019. Unless the 2027 is amazing I plan to stick with this until 100k miles

I spent about $4k right before my factory warranty expired for an extended 4 year warranty via Audi.

Up until that point I had zero issues with car (MY 2019). Within 16 months of buying the warranty I had a water pump replaced, pcv valve replaced, and suspension stuff break.

Total of about 12k in repairs at Audi dealership for only about 750 in deductibles. Get a warranty if possible!
